Great hotel,great prices and amazing food and friendly staff

Moness is located a nice walkable distance to the town of Aberfeldy and lots of places to visit, the hotel room was very clean and comfortable, I ate at the restaurant and the food was excellent and had a great breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful,my third stay here and definitely be returning

All staff from reception to bar and all other areas were very helpful without being intrusive. We would book this hotel again and recommend it to others.

Stayed in a standard hotel room. Lovely big rooms with a huge bathroom and comfortable bed. Lovely location. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.

Needed to book ahead for the pool. We lucked out though as we were 2 of only 8 people booked into the session. Drinks were expensive.

Excellent location within walking distance of the Birks of Aberfeldy.

Excellent location. Our cottage was very comfortable. There were 5 adults and 1 child in our party and there plenty of room in our apartment. It was well equipped. Liked the swimming pool and sauna and steam room facilities.

The carpets were a little worn and the crèche could be updated.

Been several times before. We love the area and having been coming for years.

On the whole the accommodation was fine. The couch definitely needs upgrading, especially the sofa bed. Bit tired looking. Daughter found the double bed a bit uncomfortable but the twin beds were ok.

Disappointed, I expected more for the money we paid,.

The room we stayed in was very noisy we could hear the people in the room above moving about early morning and late at nights because of creaky floor boards. The porridge was awful , poor selection of tea and coffee in the room.

Good overall for price

Good location. Large room and bathroom. Good leisure facilities.

Could have had more staff helping with check in at 4pm to avoid long waits. Carpets were a bit dirty. Only wanted a couple things from the Scottish breakfast provided and they gave me one piece of bacon and one scone. Would have been nice to get a couple of each since I wasn’t getting any of the other items.

Good short stay at Moness

The Rooms were generous and the the kitchen and cooking area was open and good. The beds were good and the sheets and pillows were fine. The open areas were good and the breakfasts were good too with reason able flexibility on a set menu. The pool was excellent and all of the facilities around it were also excellent. The staff were generally friendly and helpful which adds to the feel of the place.

The pull out beds were not as big as expected but for short stay were adequate. The general fixings, for example the kitchen units were in some cases were well used and although fit for purpose could be considered for upgrade. The properties were secure and watertight but the window frames were in need of a clean or in other cases a bit of paint.

Nice location and facilities but updating needed.

Enjoyed the pool facilities. We had lunch at the terrace bar and the soup was very good and a very friendly and helpful bar tender who gave us tasters of the local to try first. We had an evening meal on the restaurant which was excellent (apart from the cold rock hard toasted sourdough bread) but the staff on hand were fantastic.

Sadly the outside areas and maintenance are quite poor and need dealing with. The cottage we had had everything we needed but was a bit shabby and in need of a proper deep clean, the bed was comfy but the pillows were sad and need replacing, we ended up buying a couple pillows and pillowcases in Aberfeldy to make sure we had at least one good night's sleep.

A peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable stay that would have been made so much better with a comfy bed and decent shower.

The setting is stunning. The facilities in the hotel were good. The kids loved the swimming pool and the pool table. The food in the restaurant was delicious and all the staff were lovely.

The properties all look very dated from the outside and could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Inside the cottage was again dated and basic although had all you need. The bed was not comfortable at all. The springs were gone and there was a large dip in the centre from people lying in it. The pillows were very lumpy. The shower although hot was not great the water pressure was poor which was surprising as the pressure in the taps was good.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is superb, being it's only a five minute walk into town. It's in a lovely setting. Great facilities. Loved everything except the settee in our apartment needed replacing, tired and uncomfortable. Also the pillows were really hard. But these are not major things and still had a wonderful time.

beautiful resort in idyllic setting

the place is beautiful, clean and quiet. I loved the pool and hot tub. The food is really good and fresh too. The staff were really helpful and very kind; my husband had to be taken to hospital in the middle of the night and they were really helpful.

I only wish there was a washing machine on the premises but that's really trying hard to find something to complain about!

Lovely hotel, spacious room which was very clean Good breakfast, staff were all very friendly.

Need to book a time slot in the pool for 1.5hours, wouldn’t recommend as somewhere for a spa day as only two beds by pool. Some breakfast items were additional charges.

A lovely relaxing break with great food, brilliant facilities and lots of exploring

The location of the hotel and the grounds were stunning. Not too far to be able to walk down into Aberfeldy for a stroll around the shops and restaurants. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The Scottish Tapas evening was enjoyable and we tried quite a few different meals we wouldn't normally have done. The room we had (cedar room) was perfect for us and had windows on two sides so we could enjoy the view of the grounds. The tea / coffee / water was refilled everyday which was also a bonus. We enjoyed the Scottish breakfast every morning, especially the overnight oats! It was nice to also have the use of the pool, sauna and steam room - it is just a shame the jacuzzi was out of order.

We would have loved to have enjoyed an afternoon tea but we didn't realise 24 hour notice was required - maybe reception on arrival could say we have the option to book this, would you like to book one while you are here? The only other thing was maybe the TV in the Cedar Room could do with an upgrade.

Amazing location, lovely stay although a few things let us down

Dinner was lovely, our room was huge as was the bathroom. The shower cubicle was however absolutely tiny. I'm only 5ft 2 and even I felt claustrophobic, the shower pressure was also lacking a bit.

We had ordered a suite with a travel cot, indicating that we were travelling with a young child. When arriving, we were advised that there was maintenance being done on the lift, and that our room was up three flights of stairs. We were not told this prior to our visit or offered a more suitable room. There was also stairs to get up to the restaurant for dinner, breakfast and to get into use the facilities. It was a massive hassle having to carry our pram up and down flights of stairs our entire stay
