Nothing, was an awful experience
Beds were uncomfortable, cleanliness was minimal and the maintenance of the room…. What maintenance!? The bloody window wouldn’t shut or seal properly so you can hear everything on the street.
Walls are paper thin and the communication wasn’t great.
Won’t be staying again!

Clean. Comfortable. Warm. Everything you need. Great location. Fantastic value.
4.0 / 10.0
Basic accommodation with bed and shower.
Cold room on arrival took hours to heat up. Given the allowed check in isn’t until 4pm we had to endure a very cold room into the evening.
5.0 / 10.0
Breakfast would have been good, even a cold continental of cereal, toast, tea and coffee.
Reception opening hours were very sparse.
Noise of dogs from room next door.
How can you leave a notice in the rooms about not eating takeaways in your room but allow the present of dogs?? Surely this involves more cleaning than a Chinese? Especially when you don’t provided food.
8.0 / 10.0
Comfy beds, super location, parking at door
The bathroom was very smelly
5.0 / 10.0
No staff on during the night if anything happens
If you take unwell or anything else
You are left to be in your room.
You can’t take food up to your room like a takeaway meal.
The hotel closes the doors at 7pm you have to get yourself back into the hotel with a key code around the back door not very much lights with bad eyesight to get in again I left early after a few days.

It's in the centre of town, with good bars close at hand for food and drinks. Entrance to Birks of Aberfeldy is across the road. Good local walks close by.
It would be good to be able to sit in what was probably a bar/dining room previously, to eat takeaways. There's a fabulous Indian restaurant, but we can't take dogs in. As a family, it would have been good to be able to sit together in bar downstairs to eat.

No breakfast provided
Room was never cleaned throughout our stay. The mattress was uncomfortable with the springs almost coming through the fabric(dreadful).

Location is in the middle of little town.
Heaters and hot water were not working. Water pressure of showers are too low.We complained about this to the staff (help line given )and she didn’t even want to listen to us .She was pushing us to check out on time . She sent another staff member to check things last minute. We didn’t take showers .

Everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy. Lovely views at the back. We liked the little bathroom up the steps in the room. quite quirky. Hotel well located in the town and great carpark at back. We didn't use the lounge as we ate out but it looked very welcoming and handy for eating take away meals and relaxing. We had an excellent Cullen skink and curry at the Inti lounge restaurant on the high street. Would recommend. Very friendly staff.

Clean, confortable, had all I needed.
Beddroom doors banged, floors creaked, inside the room and in the corrodor. Could hear quiet conversation from next door. Someone next door had a shower and it sounded as though the water was draining next to my bed. There were door wedges all along the corridor, and somene had wedged a fire door open. I removed the wedge, but it was in place again in the morning.

Easy hotel to locate and get parked. Does exactly as you pay for, a room for the night.
Noise from the pub in the square but that can’t be helped.

Check in was great - the member of staff who saw us in was really friendly and welcoming and showed us to our rooms.
The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, there was everything we could need (tea, coffee, milk, sugar, ample towels, hair & body wash etc.). There was loads of parking. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of Aberfeldy close to all the local amenities. It was really good value for the area and time of year.
The windows face out to the road and are across from a bustling pub. It was a warm summer Friday evening so folk were out enjoying their evening which meant some noise drifted to our room. Absolutely not a complaint, just good for people to know you are in a (small) town which comes with the associated pluses and minuses.

The staff were trying to accommodate us which was good. It's in a good position.
No staff were there to experience the noise at night. If a night porter was there we would have asked them to intervene. Our upstairs neighbour walked the floor all night. It felt like they were in our room with how loud the creaking was. We got no sleep and then had to travel and work. The windows are bad we heard every drunken druggy conversation on the street.

Friendly and helpful staff at reception. The room and bed were comfortable. I had a small room on the top floor. The shower above the bath was good.
Pity this hotel only provides rooms and does not provide meals. However, there are many bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from nearby.

The room was clean, some small toiletries provided and surprised that we got a kettle and cuppa provided if we wanted to have a hot drink.
In the bathroom, a small bin and towel holder would add to the room for convenience.
The beds were average comfort- not great but not terrible and overall with what we paid we were happy for a night stay after walking

The location was excellent
It was in the main square

Good location (although does not warrant staying here. Try Moness Resort). Parking was also simple.
1. Room was too small (I booked a budget room so I was not expecting much but this is genuinely the worst room I have ever stayed in).
2. Bathroom so small I had to stand in the shower to shut the door so I could sit on the toilet. Shower was also too small to bend over and pick up my shampoo off the floor (for reference I’m only 5’6 which tells you how small this bathroom was)
3. No bath (despite a bath being in the room description)
4. No hot water in shower (to add insult to injury)
In general, hotel had an unkempt feel to it and was not in a good way. Location was decent, and staff (where I could find them) were not unpleasant. However, I would not recommend staying here and disliked it so much I even left a night early.

It was simple. Just what I needed for one person. The location was ideal and there was parking.
It felt a little cold and sad. (Not temperature)

Very central location. Friendly woman on reception when we arrived. Good parking facilities
Getting to the room was up & down & round about. Bit of a rabbit warren. Don’t think it mentioned this in the description. I had not long had a hip replacement so it was challenging.

it’s in a great location
it’s a bit basic for the cost
