This was the ideal hotel for our three day visit of Normandy WWII memorials and local towns.

Location at Omaha Beach was perfect for visiting WWII memorials and the wonderful villages and countryside. Room was spacious, staff was very friendly and helpful and food was excellent. Their restaurant was often busy (popular with locals) but service was always outstanding! The value was excellent!

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at La Sapiniere!

Great stay at this simple beach hotel.

Our hosts were lovely. This is a simple beach hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clearly newly redone and very lovely. The food at the hotel for both dinner and for the breakfast was exceptional. It was very good value for the money. It was a wonderful central location for touring the D Day beaches.

Lovely quaint yet modern hotel right off Omaha beach with restaurant and parking.

Beautiful surroundings. Clean and modern room with a balcony patio and nearby parking. Quiet corner room a short walk from the beach, several restaurants and museums.

Honestly, the service and facilities exceeded my expectations and were well worth the cost.

Exceeded our expectations!

We wanted to stay as close to Omaha Beach as possible and this was the perfect location. The property is extremely well cared for and the little restaurant is top notch. We received excellent service from everyone we interacted with and have told all of our friends they’ve got to check out La Sapiniere if they have the chance to spend time in Normandy.

Beautiful oceanfront setting and lush forest behind the rooms. The restaurant was lively and delicious. Try the apple cake - it’s divine! Very welcome staff and wonderful stay.

Outstanding location for visiting Normandy. Right across the street from Omaha Beach and a great base locations to see all the other attractions. We had a family of five and the baby cot was a great addition and everyone had a bed.

The shower was a handicapped without a curtain so water got everywhere in the bathroom but we managed.

Fantastic and beyond expectations!

EVERYTHING! More beautiful, clean, and spacious than I had imagined. The staff were amazing as was the food and service. It blended a homely feeling (mother and daughter owned) with the efficiency and cleanliness of a professional operation. The bed was super comfortable and so were the pillows. I really don't want to stay anywhere else the next time I come to Normandy (Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer) and am so glad to have met Isabel & Natasha.

The staff was very helpful and nice, the restaurant (offer, kitchen and layout) and terrace are great. Location is very peaceful, and well located for beach walks, as well as quick access by car to other sites in Normandie.

Weather, Location, Personnel and Rooms made the trip!

Staff was professional and courteous - location is excellent - rooms, restaurant and bar are all excellent accommodations! Angel went out of here way with great service as did all the personnel - we will definitely be back! This was a 2nd stay and looking forward to many more!

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach. The staff are all very friendly. The beds are extremely comfortable.

We always like to come back here as a stopover. Due to its design( it's made of wood), the hotel is a little bit noisy. I think it would be better if rooms were not allocated directly one above the other when there is little occupancy.

The staff was super accommodating and kind. The breakfast was delicious. Location, location, location - this is where you want to be to walk to Omaha Beach. Amazing.

The WiFi was terrible - this is very important for us when traveling to have functional WiFi...McDonald’s shouldn’t have better WiFi than an extraordinarily high class establishment - everything else was top notch!
