Scooter trip to the Somme ...

Excellent stay, couldn't be more helpful, able to accommodate me for couple extra nights as I was awaiting a special delivery ie emergency PASSPORT...foolish on my part...that's another story....so, in finishing,I would highly recommend staying here....

Small quiet B & B close to Normandy beaches

Very friendly host. Housekeeper was wonderful to do our laundry. Location in a quiet farming village. The house has a nice big sunroom for breakfast. The family room is spacious with a nice bathroom.

Listing should not state private entrance. The “Family Room” is in the owner’s house on the section 2nd floor and it shares his kitchen.

Avoid. Incorrect description of rooms and property

Nothing. The description of the room was not correct. It said private entrance, dining area and terrace. Entrance was through the owners private living room (not private), dining area was in his living room and terrace was his own. Don’t believe what you see on the pictures.

When we pointed this out to the owner he was very rude and showed no understanding. He did not understand that adding a photo of his own living room in the description of the family room could cause confusion. Also he only speaks a few words of English so communication was challenging. Finally - I expect him to comment this review in CAPS LOCK calling me rude. We stayed somewhere else after this unwelcoming start to our stay.

Friendly, we were there for D-Day celebrations. Everything was expensive! Friendly, breakfast was great.

It was OK, basic rooms, bit clean and beds were comfortable which was nice. You have to drive or have a bike from here. We had bikes so was good. I had a booked a garden view room but we didn't get that.

You get values for money. But everything is basic. The room.was big for 3 people as there were 5 beds. Breakfast was very basic but all essentials were there.

We needed to switch room after 2 days. These rooms were much smaller and the bathroom was not accessible directly from the room.

Location was perfect for a to the D-Day Landing sites. The owners were very engaging , with a warm welcome and nothing was too much for them.

Our bedroom was huge with lots of space, bathroom was also good. Breakfast was lovely with great views across the countryside.

It was quite difficult to find with no signage outside the property, we fortunately happened upon a kind local lady who pointed us in the right direction.

We didn’t make it. We were following directions on site but got misdirected. We called from Caen nearby but owner did not speak English and could not provide directions.We were very close by and it was getting dark. We booked because of English language speaking host but that was not the case. So we never made it and had to stop as it was dark and too dangerous to drive any more in that weather. We only needed a little help but got none.

Never coulfind it. Need mush better directions and detailed map as it is rural

Free parking on property. Extra comfortable bed! 10/10 Breakfast is simple but definitely enough + view to garden/fields with cows and tall trees. Amazing. Host is very kind. It’s definitely the kind of B&B you must experience.

Very large room with 4 beds in it: one double, 3 singles. Ample free parking. Fast WiFi internet in room. Quiet street.
