Great to be in Arromanche for the celebrations, but would not stay here again.

Location was great, quieter as just out of the centre and only a short walking distance in.

Stayed for 4 nights and no towel change or room clean. Room not particularly clean anyway and curtains didn’t work. Not good value for money tbh. Paid for breakfast each day (€12 each) which is totally not worth it.

Loved the town and history.

Very nice location, near the museum, and beach, and town. Very nice breakfast was provided at a charge, and it was excellent (although I’m not sure what i paid for it, so i don’t know about value).

The room does not have certain things that would have been nice, such as refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink. The owner was nice to give me some ice to try to keep some food cold, but there is no ice machine.

Room very comfortable, clean and wifi worked well once connected. Excellent bathroom space and shower great and easy to operate.

Room was not quiet as in the morning, it was right next to the church when many times the bells rang. Wifi could not be initially connected in the room but a quick visit to the main desk enabled my phone to provide the right boxes to be able to filled in with the codes given to me at check-in at reception. These boxes did not appear when I was in my room at the back of the hotel for the codes to be entered into. Free parking is advertised but could not park next to the hotel but on an adjoining road - this should be stated in the advertisement for the hotel.

Arromanches is the perfect base from which to explore the stunning region of Normandy. Full of history, great food, fabulous scenery and coastline. Standard room in the hotel was a good size with a comfortable king size bed and spacious bathroom. There was plenty of wardrobe/drawer space. Location was excellent just a short, easy stroll of a couple of minutes into the town where there were many restaurants to choose from, La Plancha being our favourite and just 2 minutes walk from the hotel with a great little bar opposite. Owner of the hotel, Vito and his staff were really nice. We didn't have breakfast there but based on the pizza we had from the restaurant I should think it would be equally as good. WiFi was very good.

Something that would improve your stay would be for the hotel to provide tea/coffee making facilities in the room. It would not cost a lot to do this and would enhance a guests stay no end. Although it did not bother us at all, please be aware that there is a beautiful old church directly behind the hotel that has very loud bells which they do like to ring! They do not ring through the night but during the daytime from 7am they ring on the hour and on the half hour. Maybe take ear plugs if you want a lie in!

breakfast not much choice. No staff to hand in mornings. Room 5 has extractor fan in bathroom which cannot be turned off. it’s on all night when trying to sleep. Also for power point you need to disconnect lamp (move bed first). Shower pressure low.

Room was dirty in general, only 2 towels provided despite booked for 5, electrical socket was hanging out of the wall, paint peeling off walls. Sheets in the pull out bed were dirty. Parking was difficult, nothing nearby.
