Had to pay to park elsewhere short term before checking in which was busy, then had to pay again to park at hotel

The aviation decoration is fantastic (especially for aviation lovers)!!!!

The history and airplane themed decor. Our hosts Paul and Ann were gracious and provided a lot of background to the area and the historic items on the property

Breakfast was good, very fresh and served at your table and the dining room was comfortable and inviting. Location was very convenient just of the main street. Nice modern bathroom and good shower. It had allot of war memorabilia and was tastefully located.

This place is confusing, we thought we were booked into a hotel but at best it was like a basic guest house. our room was in a building away from the main check in area and where we had our breakfast. The entrance had a kitchen area that no one seemed to use and our room was accessed via a spiral stair case. The bedroom needs updating to provide some comforts for the modern traveller. The furniture was antique which is fine but there was so little closet space and we were staying for 1 week. I had to hang my dresses outside the wardrobe. The curtains were dated and had no lining to even block out the light in the morning not to mention blocking out some heat during the day. The bed was old and the bedlinen so dated. There was nothing inviting in this room to make you want to spend time in it. The bathroom opened onto the kitchenette but it would not close properly. The room was only cleaned on request but then only the bathroom was cleaned and towels changed. A mid week change of sheets should be an absolute necessity but we were only offered this on our 6th day. While breakfast was good it was very basic and no variety, we chose our menu on checking in and that was the offering for the week, more variety needed.
