Convenient but not pleasant. Would not stay again without taking some cleaning cloths and mould and mildew spray.

Brilliant location…

Staff didn’t seem to care to much about welcoming you. Late night entry was NOT clearly explained and we were locked out. There was no staff on to assist and a hotel guest had to give us the code from her window after we woke her up from knocking for so long. It was embarrassing. Also, we did have a sea view but the window were tiny… Better view from the bathroom actually, which has a big window. Also, no idea how anyone would get out of the top floor in case of a fire!!!

The property is very dated, needs smartening up. My bedroom was very small, ok for one but a couple would struggle. Wi-Fi very slow. Although we didn’t use the restaurant or bar it seemed very popular. Car park was very small, max 5 cars but car park right next door and free between 19.00 and 07.00.

Location, outside style of the hotel. Looks lovely from the outside.

We paid extra for sea view and we were in the eaves of hotel. View from bathroom was great other window was small but as it was in roof that explained it. Room was noisy you can hear your neighbours snoring and flushing the toilet. Room really needs a refurb, it was clean but just a bit old. Really this applies to whole hotel. We did not eat at the hotel because we were put off in the car park when we arrived and parked next to the kitchens. It smelt really bad and there were swarms of flies.

Room with beach view in Ammoranches

Near the beach and museum! Location is perfect! As it is near the beach, you get to bring some sand inside (best to have a brush floormat). They have parking for 4cars, but if you missed it, the parking (with fee) espace dongo is right behind it.

Do not bring heavy luggage, they do not have an elevator, should you want the top floor with the best view.

Overall, it was okay apart from being unwell. My brother enjoyed it all and he enjoyed his breakfast

I had a bad night on the Thursday , so much so, I went to a pharmacy to get some painkillers. I was then of my food and I may have had a glass of orange juice for the pills, nothing else, however, they still changed the full price for the breakfast although they were told I was unwell! Not too pleased about that!

I didn’t like paying for the breakfasts which, apart from the orange juice, I didn’t have!

Nice position in Arromanche

The position of the hotel in Arromanche is brilliant, and it was great to be right on the sea front and next to the big new museum. It is an old hotel, we expected it to have quirks and not be very modern.

The hotel is very tired and shabby. The rooms were cold, with only a tiny electric heater. The bathroom was designed in such a way that any man over 5ft 9 could not stand up to pee! It took almost 6 minutes for hot water to come through the hot tap, which incredibly wasteful of water. The menu was okay, but nothing exciting. 10 euros for a continental breakfast was a bit expensive. The view was currently (1/12/22) several diggers and excavators opposite the hotel as they are building the new museum. If we'd known the work was going on, we'd have stayed elsewhere.

Ok for a stop off in a beautiful location.

Excellent location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but it was very busy on the night we stayed.

No air conditioning and the bed was very hard. Parking could have been an issue but we managed to park in one of the four spaces that the hotel had to the side of the building. However, I believe that there is a payable car park next door to the hotel.
