Room on ground floor with easy access - comfie bed and great size bathroom, fridge and safe in room was useful. Decent breakfast Has a pool but we did not use it Plenty of car parking spaces available Short walk to beach and town - 5-10 mins

Wonderful hotel with character in perfect location

We have been there several times before and always liked staying there. This time we had the best room since we have been staying there. The location is perfect, not too far from the ferry port and to visit the D-Day beaches and many other interesting places. Its easy to walk into Arromanches for meals or the museum and shops, but we also sometimes liked to stay in and enjoy the nice bar food and a drink. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is perfect and we love the room where it is served.

That we had to leave very early on our last day due to ferry disruption (of course not the hotel's fault )

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay near to the landing beaches

We arrived at 8:00am after crossing the channel on an overnight ferry. We had previously let the hotel know of our early arrival. We were warmly welcomed and breakfast was wonderful after travelling through the night. We were also given access to our room straight after breakfast. Such fabulous service! Staff were helpful and friendly throughout. Our room was beautifully clean. And of course the breakfasts were superb every day. We are great fans of 'la teurgoule' - delicious!

No complaints at all. An extra chair and small table in our room would have been nice.

A beautiful and relaxing place to stay on the Normandy Coast

Very pretty setting; the room was comfortable and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The lounge and sitting rooms and outdoor garden area were very pretty and relaxing. Onsite parking and breakfast were a plus. The location was excellent, very close to the village center and the ocean. Bayeux was about a 15 minute drive and Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery were about a 30 minute drive. Staff was great and very accommodating.

Perfect.

Rooms with view of the English Channel, very well appointed and clean. Breakfast was the best we've had in France on two week trip. Great location with restaurants and bar in walking distance. Hotel contains views from breakfast and bar areas. Would definitely stay again should we ever return to Normandy.

It was nice and cosy, small but clean rooms. Possibility to sit in the garden. Bar with big choice of drinks and snacks. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good location to visit the war sites and musea.

This was a perfect stay and location

We loved everything! From the moment we set eyes on it. The building and grounds are beautiful. The staff at the desk are so lovely as well. Our room was larger than we expected and we had a view of the water as well as a field that had sheep and a mini pony wandering. It was a short lovely walk to town and the beach. We were midway through our trip and had to do laundry. The Villa did ours for a charge, but our laundry was folded and returned and smelled heavenly. It was well worth the cost. Go have a glass of wine in the beautiful lobby. Have the breakfast on site as well. It’s delicious! The breads and homemade jams, the large selection of cheeses are all so good. We have said already that we would love to go back. The property and the town stole our hearts! The beds are comfortable, the shower was great with good water pressure.

Enjoy short stay

Lovely building and setting. We stayed for a couple of nights, no evening restaurant available but they do serve snacks, which we did not have. Breakfast was lovely, fresh and plenty of choice. About 10/15 minute walk in Arromanches. Lovely walk along the seafront. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was small but served our needs.

Lovely break in Normandy

Friendliness of the staff, nothing was too much trouble. The weather was stunning & after a day looking round the D day museums & beaches, it was nice to relax & have a swim in the pool. Our room was large & spacious & we enjoyed our view looking at the sea. Breakfast was lovely, good variety & nice to sit in the terrace in the sun feeding apples to a friendly pony called Harrison - a beautiful hotel which we would love to return to one day.

Beautiful hotel near all of the Normandy sites

This is a beautiful and peaceful property in a gorgeous location. The hotel is beautifully decorated, lovely gardens and an outdoor pool. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. A short walk to the village with shops and cafes and restaurants. And of course the main attraction, all of the WW II sites to explore. I would definitely stay here again and for a lot longer.

Wonderful, would come again

Beautiful Chateau. The facility was lovely, our Family room was perfect for the three of us with a beautiful view of Arromanches-les-Bains coast line. They have a beautiful outdoor pool but we did not use. The staff were wonderful. Very helpful and did not mind conversing in English. Great location to walk to town and to see all the D-Day locations.
