Good location, clean, friendly staff. Large disabled room with wet room bathroom.

Lack of hot water, no heating in the room, couldn’t adjust. Quite noisy from the reception area in the evenings and from the room above. No milk or coffee in the room albeit a kettle and a few odd types of tea, brought my own so not a big problem. Breakfast choice was okay but no toaster for bread, €15 each for breakfast is a lot, hot food was available, beans, bacon and scrambled eggs, not hot enough for me.

Place is clean. Bed is comfortable. Overall nice stay. Food is good at restaurant too. Staff is friendly.

They don’t provide bottled water which is fine as they said tap water is drinkable. No kettle too.

The room was lovely (Normandy Suite). However I think there needs to be more clarity when booking a room with Ocean View to explain that this may be a room on the side of the hotel overlooking the carpark. It should be clear when booking that only the Suites have a balcony and sea view overlooking the beach.

I couldn't really fault the Hotel as the staff were extremely enthusiastic and clear'y working to improve the hotel, however I had to mark it down for the following reasons. The Normandy Suite really requires a proper shower. Having a shower while standing in the bath with no shower curtain to prevent water from being sprayed over the floor and walls was quite frustrating. IF it is a suite then it really should have a proper shower as well. The bath drain was also blocked with hair form previous guests which was not very pleasant,. I just hope the cleaner will check the bath and sink drains. The toilet was completely bizarre. It is a new toilet but .. it simply does not work. If you place a piece of toilet paper in the toilet and flush the toilet, water simply pours down the toilet but does not flush everything down the toilet. The suite had no drinks - no water, not kettle and no coffee maker... nothing and no fridge. At the very very minimum, guests would like a bottle of water and glasses in the room. You would expect a bottle of water and glasses as a very minimum in a suite. As everyone uses phone chargers, it would have been preferred if there was a power socket at desk level. It was lovely having a view over the sea and listening to the waves ....however it would make such a difference if perhaps there were opaque or light curtains that could be pulled rather than have to lower the external blinds for privacy ! All in all it was a lovely warm and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were super friendly and were keen to assist. All credit to the staff. The restaurant was also lovely - the menu was varied and interesting with plenty of choice. And it was lovely to be able to sit outside. I seldom write feedback however I felt I needed to write this- not as criticism but as a recommendation to the Hotel just to make a few small improvements which everyone would appreciate and make the Hotel perfect. ..

En suite very small and compact . No water supplied or coffee/ tea facilities in room considering the cost .

I loved the view from the room, the food from the restaurant & how accommodating and friendly the staff was!

I wish I knew the room didn’t have a tub and wasn’t going to have such a big window, disappointed in not having a spa either!

Excellent location on the sea front. Convenient for a couple of local restaurants also on the sea front. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The courtyard was sheltered from the sea breeze which made it good for sitting out even in September.

The rooms were very modern, really good shower and very clean.

Pretty friendly staffs

The hotel is in a delightful location - right on the promenade - and the town is picturesque. So lovely to hear the sea from our bedroom. Good standard of dinners in the restaurant

Would have preferred fresh baguettes at breakfast. No indoor seating area for socialising after dinner, and the bar shut at 10. One male member of staff was rather officious.

The location was very good, free parking outside the hotel even had two motorcycles bay's

Bathroom was ridiculously small and virtually impossible for a 6ft male to use the essential facilities a great number of unnecessary emails before during and after my stay

We loved the location right on the beach and close proximity to several good restaurants. Le Clos Normand also had a very good restaurant. The cod risotto was amazing and we enjoyed the mussels. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The walls are thin and we could eaves drop on our neighbors ...or they were just loud. The room was of adequate size and as we learned European rooms aren't typically as big as one would get in the USA. The room was cozy and we had great nights of sleep. The bed was comfy but a bit softer than we like...not the hotel's fault cuz how do you cater to everyone's bed preferences.

Location was perfect for visiting D-day sites.

View from window. Bedroom was clean and fresh and the hotel made sure we got a good sized bed. Restaurant was good.

Basic room - toilet in a cupboard and all we heard all night was the neighbouring rooms TV! Staff not particularly helpful.
