Excellent stop off on the way to Malaga

It was exceptionally clean and modern. The staff were very helpful & the breakfast was lovely. Definitely stay there again. The bed and pillows were very comfy & the shower was powerful- lovely bathroom.

It was in the middle of industrial & residential buildings & after an already 7 hour driving journey we didn’t want to get in the car again to see the town and beach.

Great location for an overnight stopover after a ferry journey

We used this hotel for a late night stopover from the ferry from the UK. It was close to the ferry port and just what we required. Clean, comfortable, reasonable breakfast and meant we could continue our journey into France refreshed after a good nights sleep.

Breakfast was a little sparse, we had to ask for a cooked breakfast as it had all gone - but they happily cooked us a fresh one.

For a solo traveler I was bowled over by the friendliness of everyone at this establishment.

The owners were terrific, also a few locals in the bar were exceptionally friendly and so accommodating to me as a visitor from so far away. Dinner was wonderful, breakfast exceptional. Company all great. I enjoyed my stay so much.

Modern comfortable hotel, I would definitely stay again

This is a great place to stay. The hotel was modern, clean and very comfortable. The room was spacious and bed very comfortable. We had a car so the free car park on site was very useful.

Modern comfortable hotel in quiet neighbourhood close to Normandy beaches.

Modern, clean, spacious rooms with modern bathroom. Comfortable beds, very good breakfast. We enjoyed a glass of vine and beer on a terrace behind the hotel. Quiet suburban location. Very helpful and nice staff. Fenced parking lot with EV chargers. Good location to visit Normandy beaches.

The location is in the suburbs, which we preferred as we were staying with a dog, but you need to be ready to use your car to get into city for restaurant and shopping. Can get stuck in rush hour.

Great stop off location on route to Le Mans Classic

Communication issue

Clean big comfortable room. Quiet

No dinner at the hotel but it was advertised in the lift Confusion about our check out. We were offered a 2pm checkout, clarified it 3 times but felt hassled by cleaning staff who tried to come into the room 3 times, then the front desk phoned and said check out was 11, I explained the agreed late checkout, she had no record of it but apologised, then phoned back asking if we couldvleave by 1.30pm. Fortunately, we were ready by then so we're able to leave. The manager apologised for the confusion but it was irritating for us to be hassled on the last day of our vacation. Desk staff also recommended a pizza restaurant behind the hotel saying it was good. It was not good as it was bland. Despite these niggles I would recommend the hotel

Convenient, consistent quality

Look, it's on the edge of town on an industrial estate. It's nearly new. It is what is is and was prefect for a late arrival on the car ferry from Portsmouth. All perfectly clean and acceptable and you know what you're going to get. Staff were lovely.

The best budget hotel I have ever stayed in

Great location. Not too far from the town centre and very convenient for those who want to get to the cross-channel ferry early in the morning. The desk staff were fantastic, it felt as if we were in a Four Seasons hotel such was their level of friendliness, expertise and professionalism. The breakfast was superb for what is in fact budget Hotel. The hotel is next door to a super bakery and wood-fired pizzeria as well as a whisky bar!

Perfect stopover after ferry crossing

Everything. Breakfast was delicious with a wide choice to suit everyone. Bar open despite our late arrival. Room clean & comfortable. Staff very helpful and professional.

Only reason not a 10 was the reader on the door to fain entry wasn’t working. Staff did all they could and not their fault as it’s a maintenance issue.

Nice hotel for a quick stopover, friendly staff.

Lyndsay at reception was a star! Very helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was enjoyed by my husband, he had a good choice. The parking right out the front, a good lift and a clean spacious reception. Wifi was reliable.

I’m gluten-free and my options were limited to toast bread, baked beans and fruit salad. There were no cereal options and I wasn’t comfortable eating the ham or other meats. The cleaning was questionable, there was no shower gel at all and the second day cleaning clothes were left in the room.

A very relaxing and comfortably stay

We liked location outside of city. We loved the accommodation the welcome by staff. Adelie provided us with lots of information regarding g tran and access to city. The breakfast was very good lots of hot and continental choices. Room was very clean and comfortable . Stall were all very helpful. Parking excellent right outside front entrance . Pizza restaurant next door very good, 10 out of 10 for everything.

The staff at front desk Lindsay was super friendly and helpful. Hotel room was comfortable, large and clean. Breakfast was incredible good with plenty choices. Super pizza place on the left side of the hotel is a good choice for dinner.

I would like compensation as this hotel isn’t as nice as other holiday inns I’ve stayed in. I’m a musician and I’ve stay

I pay for breakfast for both of us before I left home for three mornings. The first morning we walked into the restaurant at 9:10 as it closes at 10am, there was only one young girl on the shift and there wasn’t any bread out. Neither beans. When I asked for some she looked very unhappy as she was already packing things away and clearing up. Every thing I politely asked for seemed to be a problem. I asked for pan cakes 3 times over a space of 20 mins for my son and when they came out they were cold and soggy. The coffee machine was only dishing out hot milk and when I asked the young lady for help she said she was alone and had other stuff to do. Absolutely awful. Spent the money on breakfast elsewhere every morning. Toilet only flushed occasionally which added to my frustration. Didn’t wanna complain though. room 223. Great place for any type of stay !

Wonderful and brand new place under the brand Holiday Inn Express. The front desk Team is friendly yet efficient, professional and always want to help and assist guest. The breakfast was nice and service was excellent! I even met the investor/owner and they graciously told me more about the property. I recommended this place and I will definitely stay again….

Excelente Hotel na Normandia. Quarto amplo, limpo e aconchegante. Banheiros muito bem limpos. O café da manhã é muito bom. Todo o staff é muito gentil e atencioso. Precisei de ajuda com o aluguel do carro e o rapaz da recepção (perdoe-me por não lembrar do nome) me ajudou com a ligação em francês, o que facilitou tudo. Muito obrigado. Tudo excelente.

Vriendelijk onthaal. Zuiver, ruime kamer en ruime badkamer. Zeer goede bedden. Jammer genoeg geen kleerkast als je wat langer blijft om kleding en valiezen in op te bergen. ideaal zou ook nog een kleine koelkast zijn. Zeer goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Qua uren ook top: in de week van 6h30 tot 10h, dus ook voor vroege vogels staat het ontbijt al klaar. Parking voor de deur met laadpalen. Vlakbij een boulangerie en trattoria met goede gerechten.

Niets viel tegen. alles Alles waarvoor wij het hotel gekozen hebben, was voldaan.

Extremely good value

Comfortable bed, crispy white linen, good blackout curtains, nice bathroom with very good shower. All spotlessly clean. Plenty of towels. Breakfast nice, could have done with more choice. One day out of three, we had a choice of bacon & rostis as well as eggs & sausages included in the hot food. But not on the other days. Good breads & pastries. Plenty of onside, free parking, which is a big plus point.

It was all pretty good, but didn't like that we had only one key card for our room. Maybe we could have asked for another? Very limited storage. Not a good choice of hot drinks in the rooms, shortage of milk& teabags.
