About this bed and breakfast

In newly renovated house I offer a large quiet room with a double bed and a private bathroom. The room is located on the ground floor and has direct access to the garden through a large window. You can enjoy a large very sunny terrace.
Breakfast is included.
The city center is within walking distance in 10 minutes, a bike station is 50m from the house, as well as numerous bus (15 min station) and access to the sea in 15 minutes.
The house is also located next to the memorial garden of plants and stage of ornado.

Super nice host. The location is very near to the city center and the room is comfortable and offers all everyone could need for the staying. Laurence was a wonderful and extremely helpful host. She sat down with us and helped us with our trip and gave us great tips about the city. Breakfast was great and the house and room are new renovated and beautifully decorated. We would highly recommended her and her accommodations to anyone looking to visit Caen.

We loved staying with Laurence who made us so welcome and provided lots of advice and information, both on Caen and the Normandy beaches. Lovely French breakfasts with her amazing homemade confitures and conserves. We really enjoyed our chats. Comfy bed, ample space, plenty of room in the en-suite and nice big shower. A reasonably short walk to restaurants in the town and a good base for exploring the area. We won't hesitate to return. TIP: If using SatNav make sure it picks up the street name in Caen and not the nearby town!

Unexpected Wonderfulness

Unexpected Wonderfulness

We didn’t know what to expect when staying at a place where someone was still living there but it turned out to be the best experience ever. Laurence is so warm and kind and welcoming and helps you navigate the city if you are not French and had great conversations with us and truly made the stay much different than staying at a hotel. We will never forget our trip to Caen in part because of Laurence. I think I miss her already.

We enjoyed our 2 day stay. Laurence was a perfect host and the accommodations were very nice. The location could not be better for seeing the important aspects of Normandy. She is located close to the museum and beaches. We recommend staying if you plan a trip to Caen!
