Location and room. It was charming. My room opened to the garden and while basic, the room was nicely designed.
The bathtub was really high and I had to step out of it gingerly. This could be a problem for anyone with physical mobility issues.

The location is very good. It is very close to the Château de Caen which is the historical centre and where nice restaurants gathers.
I also love that the room has a very vintage feeling but also feels clean.
There is no air-con in the room. It is very cool if you open the window just that I was occasionally woken up by people chatting on the street at midnight.

The location was perfect to visit the city centre, the castle and cathedrals.
A kettle, instant coffee, and tea in the room would have made it brilliant. They were not available 😢
