The location and friendly staff

Floors, wall and ceilings extremely thin. Excessive noise from other guests into the early hours. Not a relaxing experience. Tea and coffee making facilities would be beneficial.

Nice to stay in Canada so far from Canada!

Picked this hotel for the name - being Canadian & all☺️. It was exactly what we expected for the price we paid. The standout was the host. We were leaving at 0700 and he made sure we had breakfast before we left.

Kettle and a cup in the room would have been nice.

A real let down.

Good location for ferry

Didn't get the room I paid for. Receptionist spoke little French or English. Very noisy from room above. Got no sleep. Left at 6.30am next morning, an hour before I needed to as was so fed up. Best avoided.

Room was clean and beds fine.

Very hot, no air con, very minimal toilettries (sachet only and no hand soap). Expensive for what it was. Paying for location. Reception closed at 0715 when leaving. No facilities in room for hot drinks and no availability in reception for just hot water.

Great stay and would stay again!

We only stayed 1 night but found the hotel to be perfect for what we needed. We wanted a shower and a decent night sleep before heading to the port in the morning. The gentleman behind the desk was welcoming and friendly. Parking right outside the front was perfect too!

Clean and comfortable room, not noisy. Friendly owner - offered me coffee on departure even though I didn't stay for breakfast. Easy check in and out

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - a kettle, cups and instant coffee & milk would be good, especially in the Annexe rooms which are not in the same building as reception. Flimsy curtains let in a lot of light so I woke up early. There is not much in the area. The nearest restaurant is 20 minutes walk.

Perfect overnight stopover for me as solo traveller - I'd certainly return and highly recommend.

Booked at last minute but host could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Lovely continental breakfast served up. Room spacious, comfortable and good location for ferry crossing to UK. Parking provided immediately outside hotel at no extra cost.

Would have been nice to have tea/coffee-making option provided in room - I do like a cuppa before the day's beginning/end!!
