Fabulous, we stayed here the night before catching our ferry. It was a great choice and very handy.
The restuarant stayed open for us which was wonderful.
Top marks - beautiful rooms and bedding
Large car park for my camping car too.
Sadly breakfast isn’t served until after 8am and we needed to be at our ferry for 7am

The restaurant has great food and wine. The breakfast was a little limited in choice, but adequate.
The room was a little chilly when we arrived, but did heat up. We asked for an extra duvet which we were pleased to see had been put on the bed and made up by the time we had returned from dinner.
Nothing really.

Staff were so accommodating and friendly, they genuinely went above and beyond for us!
The only improvement could have been the availability of more pillows in the room. Other than that it was outstanding!

Friendly welcome. Lovely building with large bedrooms.

Our twin bedroom was cosy and comfortable although we did not get our milk and coffee replenished.
The accessible room we booked for my elderly father smelt strongly of drains or maybe a septic tank. We couldn’t leave the windows open to air as he feels the cold.
The quality of the evening meal was a bit bland and disappointing.
We then requested a packed breakfast for the early ferry as we had booked in for breakfast. The lady seemed to be quite annoyed with us and told me next time we should not book breakfast as it would be easier. We got a madeleine and some fruit and juice which was fine.

Beautiful room. Very French boudoir. Comfy bed. Very clean and visually appealing. Lovely view to the garden.
Breakfast very good selection. Definitely stay again.
Could have had more tea and coffee available and no milk pots for tea so couldn't have a cuppa

Grand old property. The Manager kindly gave us an upgrade to a lovely room which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and a very comfortable bed with nice white linen. Location is excellent.
Reception and restaurant opening times should be accurate and could be made available in each room.

Superb place to stay. So convenient for the early morning ferry from Caen. An added and unknown bonus was discovering Pegasus Bridge was just around the corner. Fascinating . Great staff too

Great location for the ferry, about 8 minutes. Comfortable room on top floor, be aware two narrow flights of stairs
I booked breakfast via booking.com but informed on arrival that breakfast was only available from 7.30 which was too late for the ferry checkin. Dinner was average.

We had a lovely room upgrade. The staff member we saw was exceptionally friendly.

Charming hotel with easy access to main routes and port. Large bedroom, tastefully decorated. Nice outside space if weather good. Staff helpful.
Fairly steep stairs to get to room. Parking across courtyard. No problem in good weather. Shower not very efficient and towels rather thin.

Lovely place to stay. Very convinient location travelling from the ferry to Rennes. What's more it is amazing place, lovely garden and the rooms are decorated with deep thoughs. Great choice of food for breakfast. Silence which you need after the long drive.

Great location close to the ferry port and had safe on site parking. Staff helpful and able to get a meal even though we arrived quite late

Hotel was in a good location for us - we were travelling back to the UK and needed somewhere close to the ferry port. This is ideal - 5 minutes up the road but still very quiet. We would use this hotel again if we were doing the same trip. THis would also make a great location for touring Normandy.
It was all as expected really - we just wanted a decent hotel in a good location.

Wonderful lady on reception welcomed us and even gave us an upgrade room which was spectacular. My motorcycle was safe enough in the private car park , although the gate is not locked.
Restsuaunt was nice, food was okay and price reasonable.
Breakfast was very good with the usual fare plus an egg boiler.
No complaints

Our rooms were in the modern annexe meaning a walk from the main building

Great location, very friendly staff, perfect for the ferry (7 mins to port) and very close to the Normandy beaches and war memorials
Nothing I can think of

Great location for the cross channel ferry to Caen. Easy to find & only a 5-10 min journey to the port. They are used to working with ferry passengers, so late & early arrival / departures aren’t a problem. The hotel is lovely, clean tidy, good ambience & restraint available. Private large car park & staff are wonderful. It was also a very reasonable price. We will be staying again!

The lady who ran the establishment was fantastic. Welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Lovely location extremely handy for the ferry. The room was clean and comfy and well worth the money.
There did appear to be a problem with the drains in our bathroom which did cause a nasty smell. Needs looking at.

Very convenient location for tours of D Day beaches and very close to Pegasus Bridge. Very friendly service in a quirky hotel full of gems ! Food was excellent and service good if you dined early otherwise long waits for food. Excellent parking and good start point for cycling with the Canal path around the corner.
Nothing — it was great !

We love this hotel and have stayed there a number of times, we are always made very welcome as is our little dog. In the heart of Benouville on the Normandy coast. We stayed to be able to go to the D Day beaches and the memorial to those who took Pegasus Bridge in the village. It is very easy to get to and from the Ferry. Parking on site and a very nice restaurant. Easy driving around the local area of Normandy.

Wonderful hotel - we were only there for one night, but the staff were fantastic, room was spotless & very well themed. Location is perfect for ferry stop overs as it’s only 5 mins from the port.

The rooms were exquisite and the staff were absolutely amazing. Shame we were only here for one night.

Very convenient to walk to the sites at Pegasus Bridge and Ranville. Only 10 min drive to the Channel ferry port at Ouisterham. Clean and comfortable with plenty of parking and welcoming staff.
The evening menu is fine but the same each night so maybe plan to eat out (book ahead) if you are staying a second night. Breakfast good with excellent boulangerie pastries ( rather than than the usual hotel frozen ones) but I would have liked some ham as well as cheese.

It’s in a great little village close to ferry port! Lovely old Manor House! Restaurant food is great. Had a lovely meal.
We’ve stayed before and had a fabulous room! We had a disabled friendly room in the annexes this time which wasn’t a problem. Big room but not very nice at all! Bedding hadn’t been ironed, looked not very inviting. No tea, coffee or milk. Kettle didn’t work. Towels were thin, small and very old! Very disappointed!

Location, not far from the ferry at Caen.
Plenty of car parking spaces. The room was clean and comfortable.
Good range of items for breakfast.
Ideal stopover for onward journeys.
Also close to the famous Pegasus bridge of WW2 fame.
As with most French B/B, it's only coffee and no tea to make in the room.

Fantastic historical property, nice spacious room, nice garden, good location close to the Pegasus bridge.
Breakfast is rudimentary, nothing to eat apart from the baked or sweat carbs.

Good food albeit limited menu. Greta location for Pageasus Bridge/Beaches but also for us the ferry to Portsmouth
Unfortunately got woken by some people making a lot of noise in the road outside for about an hour at 02.00 - Just unlucky I suspect
