Good value, convenient overnight stop.

Breakfast is optional extra which we did not need. I was pleasantly surprised by everything else. We came off the cross channel ferry. Hotel was 5 mins from the port. Very easy to find and the late night self check in was very easy. Also a very quiet location.

Right by the ferry ⛴️! Clean

Quite noisy from other rooms and bed very firm but it was only for one night and up early for the ferry

On arrival our entry code wouldn't open the door to the hotel we were not alone as many guests had the same problem However the onsite caretaker 17-08-2025 managed to resolve this irritating malfunction No other reception staff were evident during our overnight stay Also having stayed at this hotel many times over thd last few years it is becoming rather tired and in need of upkeep maintenance

Perfect one night stop over

Suprisingly good quality breakfast buffet, did the job before a long drive. Tea was dire, so take tea bags if you need! Self checkin worked well as arrived very late from ferry. Rooms are very basic but I think this makes them easier to clean and everything was clean on arrival Large room (triple)

Plant based milk (not very common in France) would have been a bonus at breakfast

Very basic, ordinary and expensive by comparison to other local hotels

Very basic staffing and room. Actually charge for soap! Way more expensive by comparison to other hotels in the area. Not sure why as facilities very basic and rely hugely on electronic check in so fewer staff required. However does have an advantage in that electronic check in allows for later check in - assuming it works.

Once we gained access we had a good stay. Breakfast ws good at 0630 hrs.

Location is good, accessible to ferry port. Modern and clean.

Access to the property is very poor. Check-in is possible at 1400 hrs but there is no receptionist until 1700hrs and the self check-in screen was not working. Very frustrating.

Check in was a struggle as all done on a machine that didn't give enough time to memorise the room number and entry code. The pillows on the bed were very small and there was only one for each person which made watching the great TV impossible without getting out of bed and standing while watching.

Great for catching the ferry early next day

A really great place to stay if you’re catching the ferry early next morning. We arrived after 10pm so no staff were on duty, but the self check-in was perfectly straightforward. The amenities are basic but the bed was comfy and the room was quiet.

A basic hotel, clean and ok facilities but terrible not to have access to management to access rooms

We had an after hours check in which took over 30 mins to get through as we had 3 rooms booked. We needed assistance which took a long time and access to our rooms was gained only after 45 mins. This was unacceptable.

Good comfortable hotel ideal of stop overs, but the computer said No

The hotel was very comfortable and had everything people would need for a stopover after getting off the late ferry.

Our ferry was delayed so we didn't get to the hotel until just before 23:00. Reception is closed after 20:30 and the gate to the car park entrance was closed which has to be opened with an access code. The access code is only obtained once successfully paying the tourist tax via the Room Automatic Distributor in the lobby. However, it wouldn't accept any of our 4 credit/debit cards. So we had call the central hotel support centre via an intercom on the Room Automatic Distributor and wait in a queue until someone answered. Eventually they did and they called the local hotel manager to the front desk and we were able to pay the tourist tax and get the access code for the gate. It's not what you need after a long day's travelling. Other guests we spoke to had experienced the same problem and so now only booked direct with the hotel so that the access code was supplied before arrival.
