Superb

We had a fantastic view to the sea. There was elevator to reach the room, in outseason we could park on the opposite side of the road, but the hotel has private parking. We were with dogs, the staff was kind with them too. The garden is clean and ok, we did not used the pool. The breakfast was ok, first the coffee was like tea, in 5 minutes we got new. Bakery, restaurants, and the sea is 20m. All together we loved the place and city.

Veggies, eggs could be great át breakfast. The building is getting old, but meets the price.

The bathroom lacked places to put or hang things. It was spacious and up to date, but lacked the necessary finishing touches. There was a shower in the bath, but no screen or curtain.

Value. If you understand value and you have reasonable expectations then for the money Hotel Des Thermes et du Casino is right at the top. It's directly across the street from the beach with an unimpeded view, it's close to some great restaurants, it's in a great area that isn't completely packed full of people like some of the other nearby beaches, and it has gated private parking. We used it for a jump-off point for a historical Normandy WWII tour and looked forward to coming back to the quiet hotel each evening. We used the pool and ate a basic breakfast each morning. The bonus was the staff because everyone was wonderfully friendly, polite and accomodating. It hits the sweet spot of price and comfort very nicely and except for the staff, it doesn't pretend to be a four star anything, the staff though, they were 10's!

The gentleman in the room next to ours was smoking even though they were non-smoking rooms, and lots of smoke made it's way into our room, waking me up in the middle of the night. What can you do though, people make dishonest decisions sometimes.

Scary old-fashioned lift. No parking spaces. Wr had to walk with our luggage from car park 400m futber. No air conditioning in the room - very hot. Very expensive hotel. Breakfast extra paid.

perfect location. We had a room overlooking the beach. Our bathroom had been updated and had a nice walk-in shower. But as many other people have said - there is NOWHERE to hang towels to dry!!! Please put up towel rails - there is space!! The pool was really nice.

Excellent location, friendly staff and clean room, nice beach front, plenty of choice for bars and restaurants in walking distance. We had a nice small balcony to the rear looking onto the garden. Room was good size, quiet, no air con. Nice public garden to walk in at the rear and things going on.

Not able to book secure parking in advanced & was full on arrival, not easy to find free space plus had all our belongings in car in an over night public car park. Supplement for pet I thought was a bit high.

A very relaxing long weekend . There is ample free parking across the road . Great restaurants too.

The location was perfect. The room was extremely comfortable & the view from our balcony ,overlooking the sea, was idyllic . The swimming pool was never very busy , the water was warm & the garden was quiet & always somewhere to sit either in the sun or in the shade.

Fantastic location right on seafront very near memorial of Royal Marines D-day landings. Private secure parking. Heated pool, lovely garden, great seafood restaurant a stroll away & smart shopping area, art gallery across the road. Very helpful staff and so welcoming to my 2 little doggies.

Exceptional

The welcome was so friendly. Mr Bouchas (I think is his name ) was extremely helpful and gave us tips and showed us around. Nothing was too much trouble . All the staff were very nice and helpful. The little swimming pool being open all day was a real bonus. We didn’t have the breakfast as we are not breakfast eaters but the coffee smelled great and access is very easy. There is a cosy bar if you fancy a drink at the end of an evening. We will be back and will bring more family . It feels like a hotel for everyone .

It was great . Nothing to complain about We had a lovely two nights there and felt very at home.
