Breakfast good. Room small. TV no good unless French speaker. No possibility of a drink arriving late at night. Tea making facility would be most useful in room.
Room size. Lack of tea making facility in room was negative factor.

Rooms though small are well-designed and provide basic needs, the bed was reasonably comfortable. Ideal location for a night before catching the ferry, and a decent early breakfast.
There could be better signage on the road at the port to get you to the hotel. We ended up in the ferry carpark. The check-in was laborious because their computer system appears to be slow.

Room was comfortable and the breakfast very good.
There was nothing to dislike

Close to the port, friendly staff, had a parking space outside
Very dated, tiny rooms, bit musty / stale

I thought the stay was very good, room very comfy, from now on we shall always have the family room. Staff great too.
You welcome my two dogs which is so good and for that and location I will not be changing where we stay in Ouistreham.
Maybe the bathroom, the glass screen was a little in adequate for the shower, water on the floor

Near ferry port
There was no evening meal

The hotel was opposite the ferry terminal and a short bus ride away from Caen.
Clean and functional.
Staff were helpful and friendly - and one young lady even insisted on paying for my bus fare into Caen because I only had a debit card and no cash. If she happens to read this....thank you so much!

Great location for Caen ferry port. Just 2 minutes to check in.
The breakfast was plentiful and parking safe.
The reception staff were lovely. They speak good English and are very helpful.
I lost my British adaptor for my mobile and they lent me one without fuss.
The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. We chose the hotel because we had a 8.30am ferry and so this hotel's location was ideal, being just across the road.
There are lots of good restaurants nearby too and the little town is lovely.
Overall 11 out of 10 and to be highly recommended.
Nothing All fine

Breakfast fine. Staff very friendly. Location perfect
The heating in the bedroom on the visit of the 25th October was far too high. Much better on the 1st November.

Very nice breakfast, great location for Brittany Ferries terminal
Room smaller than expected and although it was ok it was pretty basic and therefore expensive for what it was. We took our own travel kettle so we could have tea in our room as there were no tea or coffee making facilities.

Excellent location for overnight coming off ferry at 10pm as a foot passenger. Literally walked out of ferry terminal and it was in front of me. Let me help myself to hot water from the machine in reception when I arrived to make tea. Room fine for one night - compact but everything needed for overnight stay. Bed very comfy. Very good choice of breakfast which was included.
Hot water for tea comes out of multi use machine so tea tasted of coffee and also not boiling. Would bring a travel kettle next time. Only socket by bed was lamp socket - no USB - needs a two way adapter to charge phone by bed unless you unplug the light. None at all on other side of bed and only two sockets in whole room - odd for a modern building.

Good location for the port. Clean and simple for an overnight stay.
Pity there wasn’t a charging point for phones in the room.
7.0 / 10.0
Clean and tidy room, staff were pleasant enough. Location when you come off the ferry or are waiting for one is excellent, literally a stones throw away.
The room was absolutely roasting when I checked in at circa 10:45pm as though the heating had been left on all day!! Easy enough to turn off but seriously hindered my sleep as you couldn't open the window to get fresh air in to cool the room down.
The included breakfast in the morning was a bit of a disaster, no bowls for cereal, no forks, omelette was stone cold, hardly any selection of additional hot food, so all in all a waste of time, I felt sorry for staff member who seemed to be running the reception and breakfast area on her own. Obviously a staffing issue.

Could hear noise from the room next door

Breakfast was good and the location was perfect.
The room felt cramped, the beds were big but it was so hot overnight despite us opening the window. You could barely move in the room. Also the 5 euros to park safely seemed excessive considering the cost of the hotel.

Secure parking for our motorcycles, great location to the ferry and great staff
Shower flooded the bathroom and limited option for breakfast.

Helpful staff and a comfortable room. Ideal location for ferry from UK. We booked for breakfast which was good, lots of choice and as much as you wanted.
It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Just a little in need of a refurb
7.0 / 10.0
Location, staff friendly and helpful. Free carparking to front of hotel.
Rooms are very cramped although reasonably well appointed. Despite a menu in the lobby, no meals were available and it seemed a shortage of staff meant choice and availability at breakfast was lacking at times.

Staff were very friendly
Hotel is very tired. Carpets are old and worn. Smell of cigarette smoke and fish in corridors leading to the rooms. Rooms are extremely small and cramped. Hanging space is limited, everything else has to go on open shelves. Only one power socket by the bed is ridiculous, as is a lack of USB charging points at this point in time. Bathrooms are cramped and old and don't have any extraction so steam can't escape. Breakfasts are disappointing.

Location is excellent for people arriving on a late ferry

Breakfast choice was exceptional. Everything you could wish for.
The old dusty appliance in the bathroom. Very old and out of keeping.

Had everything we needed for a short stay. Parking, near to port & restaurants/bars within walking distance. Bedrooms were small but well thought out. Good shower. Would recommend Norman’s bar 100yards down the street.
Plenty available at breakfast however scrambled eggs and beans weren’t very hot. Rest was continental and adequate. Bed was comfy but plastic protector under sheet made it really hot. Could have done with another staff member in the evening to staff the bar.

Unfortunately the air con was undergoing maintenance work so the room was very hot

Excellent check-in service, clean comfortable room and friendly staff.
There was damp in the stair well which may have been helped by ventilating the area better? There was mould on the walls which could have been cleaned off.

The people were grand, the location canny fault the public areas ….
Severely overpriced …boxy room….incredibly hot and uncomfortable….just couldn’t wait to leave …so did as early as possible so not worth 170€….

Perfect location when using the ferry port. Dog friendly, even provided our dog with a goody bag with a toy and treat inside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. The 6.00am start for breakfast is good when you have an early ferry to catch. Nice bar/restaurant just down the road or short stroll to the town centre for a range of bars and restaurants. We used this hotel for a return ferry crossing having stayed in an Ibis budget in the centre of Caen when we arrived. I would pay the difference and stay here again, no need to navigate the busy roads round Caen, closer to the ferry and much nicer facilities. Was the middle of a heatwave when we stayed and unfortunately the air con was not yet fully installed but will be soon which will be a great bonus. There is on street parking but also secure gated parking for a small charge which we gladly paid for extra piece of mind. Check in is from 2.00pm
The room was a little small but as it’s just a one night stop over was not a problem.
