Only a one night stay for an early ferry crossing. Everything was great & will stay again. Only 20mins to Ouistreham

The personal, even the owner is very helpful and attentive. The decoration is nice, the gym is small but very enough to work out. The lobby is very cozy.

Great alternative to the busier/ more touristy towns close by

Great boutique hotel right on the beach. Lots of free parking, hotel is very clean and modern, spacious rooms, great gym, kind staff, many restaurants walking distance. The town is less touristy and more quiet than others close by but still has a really nice beach town vibe (ex live music at the restaurant across the street). Highly recommend!

A beautiful hotel to stay in for sightseeing in the region, or simply relaxing and recharging.

This is the second time that we have taken our 4 generation family to the hotel and it was as wonderful this time as the first. The staff are very friendly, the accommodation perfect for a family, and the location is excellent and always peaceful and relaxing. The breakfasts are a typical 'continental' type, but there is a lot of choice, all food is very fresh and delicious, and you can eat as much as you want. On a warm day, you can take breakfast outside.

Wonderfull relaxed and tasty stay in Merville

Great hotel on Merville sea front ! Calm yet very close to the beach restaurants and town center. In walkable distance from kite school.

Maybe access to the spa could be included in view of the price ?

Fantastique A La Mer

Fantastic location and very welcoming staff.

Despite hotel rules to the contrary, there were some instances of smoking and noise overnight from other rooms when there was no staff present (reception closes at 9pm). No air con or fans in room which became quite stuffy in summer heat so window had to be left open at night making these issues more intrusive. Having to pay to use hotel car park when parking outside is free seemed strange, perhaps free tokens or similar for hotel patrons should be considered.

This hotel is perfect for a beach holiday. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We shall return.

Superb location facing the beach. Room compact but nicely furnished. No restaurant but plenty of excellent ones just around the corner. Parking private and secure.

The breakfast was very average. Only 2 hot dishes which were not pleasant but a wide choice of cakes. Tinned fruit was odd and for the price we thought it poor value. Let the hotel down a bit there.

Family friendly, close to the beach and spacious room!

We loved the room, as it was spacious enough for our 17 months old daughter to run around. Falling asleep to the sound of the sea? It doesn’t get any better. The location perfect as a starting point to a lot of day trips. The staff is very friendly, kind and patience. We loved the breakfast and the fact that you can enjoy it - on a sunny day - outside on the patio.

All staff very helpful and courteous. Bedroom very pleasant. Breakfast very good.it would have been good if there was a restaurant in the evening as most restaurants in the area were closed but next door was very good. We would definitely recommend or come again.

Chic and classy

It is small classy & chic hotel in a great location. The beach is just across the road. It is clean and the breakfast is great. Also, it is very dog friendly and the beach is dog friendly for most of the time of the year.

The room was small even without the dogs, but it was totally ok for one night.

Very welcoming and helpful staff! Our room was very clean and quiet at night (slept with the windows open) with a nice little gras terras. In some hotels the water pressure in the shower can be very low but here it was the best we've ever had.

Will happily stay here again, great location and warm family run hotel.

Clean, modern, harmonious decoration. Everything is within 50 meters. Family run hotel that is very caring and professional. The two story family room for 4 adults (kids are 16 and up) was ideal, spacious, comfortable, clean - we all slept very well.

I removed the AA battery from the nice looking, large wall clock - once the tick-tock was gone, the room was perfect. Easily reinstalled upon departure.
