Week in paradise. Nestled amidst the picturesque countryside of Normandy, Maison is a charming haven that captures the essence of rustic living. My week-long stay at this delightful homestead was an unforgettable experience, offering a perfect blend of warmth, tranquility, and exploration. We were greeted by the warm smiles of Agnes and Bernard, the gracious hosts who call Maison their home. The house itself is a masterpiece of shabby chic decor, a tasteful fusion of vintage elegance and rural simplicity. Every detail in the interior had a purpose, exuding a unique character and charm that made us feel like I'd stepped into a storybook.Their local knowledge and recommendations for exploring Normandy and Brittany were invaluable. From suggesting hidden gems to sharing personal stories, they added an extra layer of authenticity to my travel experience. Each morning began with a delightful surprise – fresh eggs from the chickens that roamed the vast property, the most delicious pancakes, made with those very eggs, for breakfast.The farm-fresh ingredients added a special touch to every meal, making dining at Maison an absolute delight. Surrounded by lush greenery, the estate is home to a menagerie of adorable goats, sheep, and chickens. It was a joy to stroll around the grounds, taking in the fresh country air and observing the animals in their natural habitat. The strategic location of Maison makes it the ideal base for exploring both Normandy and Brittany. Whether you wish to explore historic landmarks, sample exquisite local cuisine, or simply soak in the breathtaking scenery, this homestead is perfectly situated for it all. We left Maison with a sense of gratitude and a promise to return someday to this enchanting home away from home.

Beautiful house and grounds, moments from the coast

Although sadly our stay was very brief, we absolutely loved staying at “Les Bois Flottés”. The house and grounds are beautiful and our son very much enjoyed exploring the swings, mini ride-on tractor and slide and playing games in the garden. He also loved being given the opportunity by the very kind owner to feed the goats. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. The owners were exceptionally kind and even went to the trouble of making us a picnic breakfast to take with us as we had to leave early in the morning to catch the ferry home. We would highly recommend staying here to others and very much hope to come back another time.

Good breakfast, very french, no ham, cheese or eggs but excellent jams and crèpes, homemade. Very friendly owners and nice garden, certainly suited for kids to play, nice outside seating. Good advice for dinner places

Breakfast was exceptional. Agnes and Bernard prepared delicious crepes, wide variety of honeys and confitures and provided also their local fresh produce. Agnes also recommended helpful locations to visit and good restaurants.

Heel vriendelijk echtpaar. Geven tips voor de omgeving. Bernard maakt een heerlijk ontbijt en bakt taarten. De tuin en directe omgeving zijn een oase van rust. Luie stoelen in de heerlijke tuin waar je echt even tot rust komt. De kat en t schattige hondje komen steeds even gedag zeggen. Binnen no time zit je in leuke dorpjes met restaurantjes en t strand. Er waren geen andere gasten, lekker rustig.

Calme, détente et proximité

Domaine magnifique décoré avec goût, au calme et très bien situé. ( Première plage à 5 min, Cabourg Casino à environ 10 min ) Agnès et Bernard sont très accueillants et pas avares de renseignements. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, pas un seul bruit la nuit. Les parties extérieures sont également très bien entretenues et très agréables. Le petit déjeuner compris est lui aussi très bien. Nous recommanderons les lieux sans hésiter.

- wahrscheinlich ehemaliger Schuppen/Stallgebäude umgebaut zur Fewo, (nicht im abgebildeten Hauptgebäude) sehr beengt, unfassbar viele Spinnen, extrem steile Wendeltreppe zum Schlafbereich unter dem Dach, enge Toilette unten, äußerst schmaler Durchgang zur Dusche (max 30cm) , nicht geeignet für größere oder kräftigere Menschen, auch nicht für nicht mehr so fitte Leute
