Great location in an renovated 18th-century property. We could see the historic square and beach from our window. Amazing collection of WW-Ii memorabilia.
Steep, curving wooden stairway leading to upper rooms.

We were busy and had a schedule so we didn't get to enjoy breakfast, but the breakfast area was cozy and bright - very nice. The host was so interesting and his collection of aviator memorabilia was extensive and fun. Even had a genuine cockpit in the common area.

Perfect location! Lovely view of the sea from our room. Nicely renovated bathroom. Very unique property.

Room A-1 has a nice view of the ocean from the main bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom facilities were nice and spacious. Room was spacious and plenty of electrical outlets. The dining area is really beautiful and the establishment is well decorated. There are not many restaurants choices locally but they recommended a really nice choice la petite plage. They were so kind and welcoming.
It was hard to sleep because the rooms were hot for us. None of the rooms had flat sheets and the comforters were too warm. The pillows were not comfortable. There were no washcloths. We couldn’t drop off our bags before checkin time. I would recommend for someone staying here that you bring washcloths, sheets, pillows, shampoo, conditioner. Also that you contact the company in advance if you need to stow your baggage before checkin in time. I would recommend that the door locks and hinges get oiled so the are not noisy and waking up others when they go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

This place is like staying in a D Day museum, a very charming hotel. The owners are on site and enthusiastic collectors of memorabilia of WW2. Breakfast is ordered the night before is is wonderful and fresh. We loved the dog who joined us for breakfast each morning. One block from the beach and the D Day landing museum, fabulous location. There is a sitting room downstairs and the host will supply glasses and ice for a nightcap.
The nearby village church bells rang too early in the morning!

This is a 5 star Beautiful property with 6 star service, Fabulous breakfast & very comfortable beds. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean. Only 50 meters from the beach, Restaurants & museums, a super location. Paul the owner and all the staff were so helpful with everything..As a D-Day enthusiast, this place is very special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at DDay Aviators Le Manoir and would highly recommend staying there. It was the last night of our holiday and we wished we could have stayed longer. We will certainly be back for longer next time we are in the area. All the WW2 memorabilia Anne and Paul have collected is amazing and so interesting. Breakfast was very good and we particularly liked the Glen Miller music playing in the background!
Nothing to not like

This was not just a hotel. It was an actual experience. The manager and his wife have collected so many historical aviation artefacts which are on show. he took time to show us around and his knowledge was very extensive.
Our room was beautiful and very clean. The bathroom was especially lovely.

It is an old Manoir, which is very attractive, but without a lift, which can be a challenge if your mobility is impaired. It is also an Aviators museum, with memorabilia everywhere. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The bathrooms have been modernised and the shower was excellent. The location is very close to the town and beach, so it is only a short walk to the amenities. There is limited parking in the hotel grounds, but we did not have any problem parking there.
The bed linen was a bit dated, and could have been more modern.

As an AVgeek, Aviators was the perfect place for me. It’s like a small museum of WW2 aviation memorabilia. I loved it! The room was lovely and breakfast was delicious. The location is in the middle of everything. Highly recommend!

Wonderful theme with gorgeous and interesting WWII items. The room was large and comfortable and the water pressure was strong. Located right in town and we could see the ocean from our room

This hotel is delightful and quirky, located in a renovated old home within steps of the Atlantic Ocean. The owners are aviation enthusiasts (at least one is a pilot) and have collected a huge array of artifacts and memorabilia as well as photographs and art related to DDay, and it is lavishly displayed throughout the building, We were traveling with our adult daughter and wanted a two bedroom suite, which they offered. It was well equipped and charming. The breakfast room even featured part of an ancient cockpit! (The breakfast was also terrific).
We liked everything - no complaints or notes

It was convenient to all of the D-Day beaches. The unique decor, which included historical objects associated with WWII aviation, really added to our experience. We loved all of the object stories and chatting with our host. Our customized breakfast was delicious and waiting for us each morning. We would love to go back.
Getting in the gate is a little tricky - but we figured it out and appreciated the onsite parking.

The owners are super passionate about history and it shows. The hotel itself is a museum filled with artifacts about DDay. The location is perfect for visiting the DDay beaches - as well as being close to restaurants. We went around Normandy and Paris on our trip - and the breakfast at Aviators was the best meal we had the entire time. Thanks!

Quirky property in the heart of the town. A little more difficult to get to because of the roadworks. A little confusion with the Tourist Information as there is another address in the town.

Our memorable stay was situated a few steps from the beach, museum, eateries, and shops. The room we stayed had a beautiful window view of the ocean from our bedroom. Le Manoir itself is a mini-museum with a lot of artifacts/pieces.
We really enjoyed our stay. The owner, his wife and his staff( a gentleman) were very kind. The breakfast was a nice spread which you choose when you first check in.
The house is old which gives it its charm so expect quaint features expected with an older home. We would stay here again.

This was a very quirky but delightful hotel - the owners have collected aviation memorabilia from World War 2 which is displayed throughout the hotel.
Our room was very clean and very comfortable. It’s in a great location in the heart of the town.

Great host which was super accomodating and location was perfect. We loved all the history of the room and the hotel in general since we are aviation fans.
Since we were visiting Normandy to see all the WW2 sights, we were stoked to learn that the hotel's breakfast room featured a full C47 cockpit.
