Beautiful accommodation surrounded by nature

Spacious and beautiful room, very nice bathroom. Beautiful building, probably a renovated farmhouse. Very good atmosphere. Breakfast was also wonderful. I read in the comments that there wasn't much choice, but we didn't find that (a selection of salami, cheese, butter, jam, pancakes, fruit and baked eggs or scrambled eggs were prepared on request). Very nice. But you really need a car to get there.

It's silly, but it really annoyed me: there's a sensor light installed in the bathroom/toilet that switched off too quickly. It's a small thing, but if I have to find something I didn't like... :)

We came to visit Bayeux, and the DGC was perfect in every way. The proprietor suggested a nearby restaurant in St Vigor,

Very comfortable room less than 10 minutes from the centre of Bayeux and 15 to Gold Beach. Wonderful breakfast with fresh crepes, eggs, pastries etc. Huge wet room and great shower.

Perfect for romantic getaway

The location is just so romantic. Everything is spotless clean, the host is very nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice as well. The property is quiet and far from the crowds. It's close to the city, where you can get one of the best restaurants.

Lovely, peaceful rural retreat

Very clean and comfortable accessible accommodation. Facilities were good for my wheelchair dependent husband. Lovely hosts and excellent breakfast. Very close and convenient to Bayeux.

The gravel outside the room was really deep and would have been very difficult to move a manual wheelchair on, fortunately we had an electric scooter which coped with it.

A great place to stop in Normandy, close to Bayeux and the D-day landing beaches

We were travelling as a family and we had some little annexe rooms. We had a warm welcome, space for my children to run around in the garden and a very quiet and comfortable night’s sleep. The breakfast was lovely too!

Fabulous stay in a beautiful place with kind hosts

Beautiful rooms in a picturesque location. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean and tastefully arranged.

We loved everything. Small suggestion: soap in the bathroom and maybe a larger waste basket in the room so we could leave our rubbish more tidily.

Very nice room with wonderful bathroom. Very clean and new given the new building. Nice breakfast.

Only comment on the room would be to provide bedside lamps as the wall lights/overhead lights are very bright and not conducive to a peaceful wind down. The sat nav location could be improved as we had difficult finding the property using the information provided.

TV didn't work properly. No soaps/shampoo etc in bathroom. Breakfast room not suitable, far too large and empty. No other facilities on site.

Exceptional

The location is very close to Bayeux (5km)and also close to Arromanches and the beaches. Nevertheless the estate lies by its own, away from any traffic and noise, all by itself in a very peaceful and scenic area surrounded by fields, meadows and the typical hedgerows of Normandy. The buildings have been fully restored and used to be a huge farm with a cheese production. Some works and finetuning is still ongoing, the new owners opened just a month ago.(05/2023) The breakfast was very good and rich with local food. The owners are very helpful and friendly.

Newly renovated and in a lovely rural area of Bayeux. Room for parking and very quiet. Theo made a wonderful breakfast for us each morning with homemade jams and lovely breads, pastries, eggs and cheeses.

The location was beautiful with horses in the fenced area nearby. So nice to be just outside the city. Breakfast was wonderful ! Hostess was very accommodating and able to give us lots of information about restaurants . Lots of brochures and maps available by our room . Wonderful stay
