Strategic!

Very easy to park and a good cost benefit if you're looking for a simple and strategic hotel close to main attractions. Breakfast was very simple but I considered it very good. The bed was very comfortable.

Bathroom is really small and I didn't find it absolutely clean to be honest.

Affordable, comfortable, easy

- The price, for starters :) - Breakfast affordable at €6,90. Basic but sufficient. Good Rustic Baguette bread. - Little noise from traffic. We were on the backside, near the road; but the walls and double glass window isolated well. - Friendly staff. - The beds were comfortable. - Location! A short 10min walk to Bayeux city centre. - Close to excellent Battle for Normandy museum.

- The bathroom was quite narrow and small. It is a built-in, modular bathroom, so not much can be changed. But the shower should have thicker, wider curtains and a higher edge to prevent water pouring over. - Not much else

Great value hotel. It was clean, comfy and quiet. The member of staff on reception was super efficient too. Great for a one-night stay before/after using the ferry in Caen.

Not Too Bad For Price

The staff were quite friendly and the location was ok for getting into the centre of Bayeux. Breakfast basic but passable.

The room we were given first had a bad smell so the the staff had to find us another room (which they kindly did). There were two coaches of school children staying which made it very noisy, especially lots of door banging (I am not sure if we were unlucky with this or if there are always a lot of school trips staying at a budget hotel like this in Bayeux).

Adequate for our needs beds were comfy and room was clean however bathroom space was rather small.

The hotel was adequate for our needs.

I booked a group of 10 people to this hotel specifically asked for rooms on the ground floor. so our group were close together. The hotel had confirmed my request by email. However when we arrived and checked in only one room was allocated on the ground floor and the rest of the party were spread out between the three floors. The receptionist suggested that I change rooms with this guest however by the time this was suggested the member of our group had already checked into the ground foor room and was settled.

Only the location ,and breakfast wasn't too bad.

The woman receptionist wasn't nice at all. The air conditionning didn't work in the room ,probably for a long time! It was hot in the room as the outside temperature had been exceptionally high in the previons days. I left the window opened but didn't refresh enough the room as the window is small..

Pleasant

I HATED the 3rd degree questioning the rest of my family received when I and my vegan wife found there were no vegan options for breakfast. We bought in our own vegan cereal and coffee and oat milk yet my companions were questioned at length to make sure that we hadn't used the hotel's breakfast foods...'tres petit' and deffinetly not good!
