Villa kahlo Omaha Beach

Very welcoming even though I didn't get there until 11pm

Nothing. The only thing nothing to do with the villa, the village didn't have street lighting, but most normal people arrive earlier 😊

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Great breakfast and host.

The accommodation was very comfortable and the space well thought out. It is in a discreet location, off the main road so is quite private and quiet. There is a lovely garden to enjoy and there is plenty space to enjoy your surroundings. You can walk to the beach from the property, which is a lovely walk, and from there you can walk to the next village and enjoy a meal and some drinks, before walking back and relaxing at the apartment. The shower is great and the bed is incredibly comfortable. We had a lovely stay here and loved the location a lot.

There wasn’t anything to dislike but you probably do need a car (or bike) to reach the accommodation and explore the surrounding area.

It was nice they accept pets. It was easy to walk to the beach and take in a lot of interesting history of the area. The unit was nicely decorated.

There was possibility to cook and eat in the room, but the dish cleaning is in the bathroom. Yuk. The tea kettle was grotty and took quite a lot of cleaning before I could use it. Since I didn't have food, I really wanted a cup of tea. There is no food in the area, the closest market or restaurant is 20 minutes drive away. So bring food or plan to drive out and back. Other guests arrived after midnight turning all the lights on talking outside our door and giving both me and my dog quite a scare. It was so unexpected at that hour, because the door is located in the back yard and the gate was closed. I could not get back to sleep. There is a large gate that was made for cars/ parking, but they don't allow parking. You can park in the open exposed farm field across from the house or about 200m away on the main street. With such bad weather I would have preferred to park in a more protected and closer position. Not a bad place to spend the night, but I would not put it on my list to return.
