There was plenty of free parking in the hotel's car park when we stayed in November. The room and bathroom were very clean.
The booking confirmation said we could check in from 3pm. We arrived at 4pm to find a notice on the door to say the hotel would open at 6pm. An email, call or text message would have been expected if there was a problem as we then had to amuse ourselves on a cold, dark November evening waiting for the hotel to open. Not a good start.

In town centre even though a little noisy traffic wise. Hotel maintained to a high standard with every convenience. Good dinner and breakfast. No complaints. Secure car parking

Location was very convenient with parking. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy but no heater on and room was cold
Entire hotel was empty but family checked in next to us at 6.00 am. Walls are paper thin and we were woken up & then kept awake while they unpacked and settled in for the next 45 mins; they could have been moved slightly away from us. No kettle in the room.

Excellent dinner and breakfast and private parking
The room was off a car parking area so not very nice outlook, but it was quiet.
Bathroom was a bit scruffy.

The location, great breakfast and friendly staff and little pooch.
Reception smelt a little of the kitchen

Close to sites we planned to visit.
Room was cold. When we asked for heat we were told that it is "done", it's June". Actually it was still May. We finally asked the owner for heat. It was turned on for an hour. Then nothing more. We were cold the entire visit. For breakfast it is best if you are the first to arrive. They do not replenish the offerings as they are depleted. We had 2 pieces of cheese to select from , 2 pieces of ham and some croissants. Overall the breakfast was a disappointment.

Basic but good hotel, lovely staff and good food. Exactly what you would want from a 2-star hotel. Secure courtyard parking.

Perfect stopover and great breakfast and evening meal
The door handle to the room kept falling off and the plug socket was hanging out the wall

Both dinner and breakfast were good and the staff were very friendly
When we arrived we were shown to a 'motel'-style room out in the carpark which was not what we'd expected from the photos. We complained and were then shown to a nicer room within the main hotel (only five available). The biggest disappointment was Isigny which we thought was an ugly town with no decent restaurants or bars (that we could find). It was a useful stopping place for us on the way back from the Normandy beaches but certainly wouldn't go again.

The sense of history twined with the modern facilities.
I had visited a museum showing footage from the war and saw this hotel in the news reel.

The location was good, centrally situated in the town and in the middle of the area we were visiting.
The staff didn’t reply to multiple enquiries to book a dinner table for our first night of arrival. Despite the website saying it was open on a Sunday, it wasn’t and we did not find out until our arrival in the evening. Fortunately there was one other dining option in the village and we just managed to secure a table there in time.

Room was spacious and clean, staff friendly ,good parking , villages eateries we attended friendly and reasonable but not always open
No coffee/ tea making facilities in room , spiral staircase to room so access awkward , strategically placed for D Day sites but village itself quiet , most places closed in evening so have to live on takeaways
Overpriced like all hotels we stayed in in Normandie , ok for 2 nights

We chose this hotel as it had a restaurant advertised.
The hotel was closed when we arrived despite when booking were informed check in was from the afternoon around 4pm. Luckily the owner was out the back so was able to show us to the room. We had to climb up a spiral staircase with all our luggage which was quite difficult. The room was tiny and only had one towel despite this being booked as a room for 2. There was a random bottle of water in the room but nothing else. We asked to book a table in the restaurant for dinner but we're told the restaurant was closed...extremely cross at this as it was the only reason we chose this hotel. The only place to eat that was open was a pizzeria or a kebab shop!

Breakfast all ok,
Evening menu, food ok, choice could have been a bit more extensive.
Most was about average for the price.

Reception staff was very friendly and helpful
Accommodation was in outbuilding not inside the main hotel - our bedroom door opened into the car park - not attractive or quiet. The price of €98 is far too much for such accommodation. And they didn't deduct the Booking.com subsidy.
The food was poor - the frites were soggy. Frites are meant to be crisp texture!!
Entrecôte was ok but much more gristle than usual for entrecôte. Also the chef tried to hide the gristle by covering it with a Camembert sauce - not respectful to the customer.

Great parking for motorcycles.
Being told we were too loud when there was just two of us having a conversation and laughing.

Ask for the new, refurbished room in the courtyard (room 9). Other parts of the hotel look and feel on the brink of starting getting a bit outdated and need some redoing.
It appears to be a family run hotel. However they are rather busy and not to occupied with the guests themselves. Wifi is on air but does not give access.
