Wonderful!

Wonderful: the house is amazing and very clean. I never stayed in a perfect French home until I picked this location. I am a photographer and was able to access everything and received wonderful advice from the homeowner! They have a cool secret too! Be sure to ask!

I strongly recommend the place to those who value nature, comfort and atmosphere like at home :)

It was my birthday. There were several unexpected things during the day, and I arrived very late, almost midnight. And the owner was so friendly, helpful and positive! Unbelievable! He even met us at the road with the laser pointer, because it was dark and I couldn’t find the exact house. The entire stay was comfortable, the room was super clean, the breakfast was home made and delicious. The atmosphere in the house is amazing, with family stories and good sense of humor. I’m very grateful to the owner for the pieces of advise on visiting the places and on organizing the car route. And the house is on the sea shore. Fantastic!

Amazing!

The host, Emanuel, was terrific. He was so kind and helpful throughout my stay. The accommodation is excellent, extremely clean and the room is wonderful with a garden view and very spacious. The breakfast is awesome, a tremendous variety of options and Emanuel is right there to help the entire time. This is a very special place with a tremendous location. I highly recommend to future guests.

Must stay! You will be surprised at your find!

The upstairs bedroom and sitting area was quite the find! It was exquisitely decorated, clean, and such a neat space. Emmanuel was a wonderful host, full of life and stories! It was a pleasure having breakfast with him, walking down the road to dinner, and staying at Villa Omaha. We even got one of his second properties for night 2.

Cozy stay by the beach with warm hospitality

Perfect location right by the beach. The host was wonderful – very friendly, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The place had a cozy, artsy charm with a warm, homely feel. Free parking was available. It’s a fantastic base for exploring the many nearby D-Day sites (by car). We’ll definitely come again!

Breakfast was okay, though we had hoped for a bit more variety. We had mistakenly thought we could use the beautiful garden shown in the photos, but it is private.

Great location, good communication from host. Lovely home, very comfortable bed. Able to park car easily. Good breakfast, shared space was nice and clean. WiFi was good also.

A charming and peaceful stay in Normandy with a kind and attentive host, a cozy and well-decorated room, delicious break

We had a wonderful stay at Emmanuel’s place in Normandy. Emmanuel was a fantastic host, kind, welcoming, and full of helpful local tips. The room we stayed in was part of a charming, quaint house with a lush green backyard filled with trees and birds. It was peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. The room itself was perfect for us, thoughtfully decorated, cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and modern, and contrary to a few past reviews, we had no issues with the shower. It was very easy to use. Breakfast each morning was a lovely European spread with fresh bread, fruit, yogurt, eggs, cheeses, ham, great coffee, etc. A perfect way to start the day. One especially sweet touch was the caramels Emmanuel left for us when we arrived. They were absolutely delicious, and I still think about them. Highly recommend staying here if you’re exploring the Normandy region. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The location is great, the home-like atmosphere combined with privacy of room and near I stand access to both beach and a really good while reasonably priced restaurant. more than recommended, would stay here again with more time to explore. The host is magnificent.

Drove 6 hours to the destination for the owner to tell us they cancelled the reservation.

Nothing. We drove 6 hours only for the property owner to say they 'cancelled' the reservation 2 months prior.

The property owner sent a request to cancel the booking of which I did not see. We then drove 6 hours in the peak of tourist season only to arrive at the property and the owners to tell us they cancelled our reservation. If a property owner needs a reservation cancelled, cancel the reservation, don't ask the customer to confirm a cancellation request. The pictures of this property are also deceiving as it is not on the beach, it is in a very touristy area, and the property address number is not marked or visible. This property is shared with the owner, so expect lack of privacy if you're expecting your own private living quarters.
