A gorgeous little hotel perfectly situated in a lovely town

The rooms were very spacious, in the heart of the old city, walking distance from plazas and the Place des Papes, restaurants, and the Christmas market. The breakfast was outstanding as well, the receptionists warm and friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed a week!

The hotel is very well located and the staff are generally quite friendly (with the exception of the breakfast people).

Woke up in the middle of the night to realise that the roof had a leak and my daughter was completely wet, changed rooms at 1 in the morning. In the new room there was no soap and the door to the toilet didnt close. Upon check out the receptionist said they sometimes had that issue in this room..well why on earth would you continue to give guests this room then instead of repairing it?! Offered us free breakfast to make up for it. Save your money, breakfast is quite meaguer and the personnel there unfriendly.

Loved staying in Avignon - especially with Antipodes products from New Zealand in my bathroom.

Location was fantastic. It was quiet and a very comfortable bed and pillows. I also loved having Antipodes bathroom products. Antipodes is from my home country of New Zealand and here I was in the heart of Provence. How does that work when you have a spiel about your Ecco tourism ethics when using products from the other side of the world????!

A mediocre experience that could have been better for the amount we paid.

Good location.

Seemed like they tried to cut as many corners as they could to save a small amount of money. Not replenishing the coffee pods, drinking water, Kleenex and toilet paper. The room is for 2 people but it only had one chair. There is only one electrical outlet in the room and it was occupied with a lamp and coffee maker so it was very inconvenient to plug another device in. Not a 4 star experience.

Excellent location, close to train station and central Avignon. Good check-in, lovely bathroom and fresh clean newly decorated room. Overall, good value for money.

The bedding was too hot and the aircon did not allow for a cooler setting. No fridge in the room.

A very satisfying stay, we would recommend it to our family….

Excellent reception. The room we had was good on space, the bed supportive and wide….and the en-suite was spacious, plain in style but hugely functional…. The breakfast was super, comprehensive, great fresh pastries too. The coffee - from a machine - we thought was very satisfying….

We did not see anything to disapprove of…although the hotel should check out the electrical sockets in the bedroom. Not secure.

Nice hotel and near the train station

Location, great staff. Good breakfast.

There were no electric outlets near the bed and only one low-power usb-A charge plug on each side of the bed. Funny that wouldn’t have been an issue even 15 years ago. Room was nice though.

Wildfire+ train cancellations=2nights only(3nights paid for)

Staff- really helpful, particularly the hotel director who was extremely sympathetic regarding the fact I lost 477 euros from being unable to arrive at the hotel on 8 July due to the cancellation of all trains from Paris, due to the wildfire in the Marseille area. Unfortunately as the booking was made through booking.com the hotel was unable to reimburse the cost of the lost night.

2 nights were not long enough ! Due to the wildfire and the subsequent cancellation of all trains from Paris it was impossible to get to Avignon on the 8th July. We had left Scotland at 10am on Tuesday 8 July, arrived Paris CDG around 2pm- due to arrive in Avignon at 9pm that evening. We arrived 3pm the next day - 9 July - as we were forced to stay overnight in Paris- at our own expense.

Great base for touring Avignon

Close to train station and easy to walk to sights from here. Staff were friendly and helpful. They let us store or bags ther both before checking in and after checking out.

Homeless were prevalent in the afternoon and evening but we still felt safe.

A clean airy space in an attractive and convenient location.

The hotel is a stone's throw from the railway station in a lovely tree lined road with lots of cafés. Surprisingly quiet location and very attractive. On arrival the receptionist was super friendly and helpful and apparently I had been upgraded - for no obvious reason! The hotel was lovely and cool, bearing in mind it was 38° outside! My room was wonderful - very clean and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful, if a little chaotic and the breakfast room/public lounge area is really cosy and attractive.

There is a coffee maker in the room but as I am a tea drinker, I was disappointed with the way I had to make tea. It wasn't great.

A lovely quiet well run hotel with a wonderful renovated bathroom

The staff was very friendly and I very much appreciated the obviously recently renovated bathroom. I could tell that it was upgraded in the not too distant past, and they provided a beautiful rainforest showerhead along with a hand held showerhead, and it was a real luxury taking a shower every night. The hotel I had just come from in Amsterdam left lots to be desired in that department so it was really nice to arrive in at this hotel and have such a wonderful shower experience! Sounds silly, but important to some of us. In addition, the room was quite clean and well-maintained and for the most part the hotel was very quiet even though my room was on the main street. I heard almost nothing. I just wish the towels were a little more plush.

The breakfast selection left a little to be desired, but that’s just me. One or two mornings the scrambled eggs were not warm enough and the fruit salad seemed to come out of a can. But the dining setting is low-key and very pleasant.

Great location to train/ bus terminals and the old town.

It is 3 min walk to the train station on easy to walk path. I didn’t have breakfast there but the hotel put fresh croissants and lemon water in the lobby for free. Service is efficient.

No complaints except our junior suite has a sizable living room (good!) but no chairs except a love- seat sofa. There should be chairs ( even if they are basic chairs no need luxurious), plus a small coffee table in front of the sofa would be convenient and useful. The room is big but looks empty.

Aircon’ only just adequate. Room facilities Spartan, trestle table for my suitcase, small table (with nespresso, or equivalent), frame to hang my shirts on with 2/3 selves below. No wardrobe, built in or free standing.

A pleasant hotel halfway between nightlife and the train station

The room had windows tat gave on a narrow street in front of what looked like a museum. Early in the morning there was the roar od pellets or what not being dumped on the pavement out in the street.

an excellent, very nicely decorated 3 Star hotel with all equipment required like fridge, coffee machine, safe. Big comfortable ropm, excellent location near the city centre. No parking but public parking at reasonable prices.Really excellent breakfast! A very recomendable 3 Star Hotel!
