Pleasantly surprised

We stayed here for on night (Saturday). Our executive room was a good size and spotless. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was ok and included gluten free cereal and bread. (If you’re celiac, please note that the bread was not individually wrapped; just naked slices on a plate and in the same section as the wheat breads so there might possibly be cross contamination). Location of the hotel is perfect - an easy walk to places of interest. Also, being on the main road and outside the walls of avignon, makes it easy if arriving by car. Parking is underneath the hotel which is a bonus. Train station a few minutes walk. We had cocktails, main meals and dessert at the hotel restaurant and everything was superb. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Ideal location for a stopover in Avignon

It fulfilled the expectations for a Novotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was good. The location was great - easy to get to by car. The underground parking is very convenient

The room was too warm - the heater was set on at 25 degrees and even if we changed it to air con, the air coming out was warm. We ended up having to sleep with an open window.

Conveniently located, but overall the experience was below expectations.

The continental breakfast was a good way to start the day—fresh juice, fruits, yogurt, and bread was fresh and well presented. Staff being very friendly too.

The coffee left much to be desired, unfortunately. The room could benefit from some renovation, as it wasn’t very clean—we noticed hair and some mold in the bathroom, which was disappointing.

Modern hotel within a short walk from the train station.

The location was very close to the train station, so was easy to get to other destinations. The room was modern and quite comfortable for a few night stay. There were many electronic sockets to charge devices. And the WiFi worked very well.

It was not as close to restaurants as staying in town. But we could walk 10 to 15 minutes and get to the center of town.

Good location and reasonable value for money.

Good bar and nice selection of quality wine. Room was comfortable with nice bathroom. Good location just outside the old city and in close proximity to the train station.

The restaurant meal was not of the standard we expected for the price. We dines in the old town after that. There was a strong smell of body odour from some of the cleaning staff that was very unpleasant.

Expensive substandard.

The property is really at the edge of the city center (just outside the walls), which is a great plus. It also has a pool.

The rooms are very standard and there were a lot of stains on seating areas and cushions, the price was unreasonably high for the comfort delivered.

It had everything you needed plus a fabulous vibe. The staff were fabulous. We had a horrible experience in Avignon and were robbed. The staff were so helpful and supportive.

Loved everything about our stay! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Always greeted us with a smile : ) We even left some belongings behind by mistake and they offered to mail them back to us!
