Drain smell in stairwell

The location was wonderful - close to the center of the old town, on a quiet, narrow, pedestrian friendly walkway. The breakfast at the nearby Bistro was good. The room was large, with a decent sized bedroom, living area, small kitchen and bathroom. The operator uses a handy phone app that lets guests check in, check out, communicate with the operator and even activate the entry lock. It took some figuring out and a bit more information about use would’ve been appreciated.

The furnishings were sadly overlooked. The bedroom had a bed, two tiny circular tables and a small TV on an odd tripod stand. The TV was smaller than most desktop computer monitors. There was no chest of drawers, no luggage stands , no chair or any place to sit other than on the bed. The bed was a decent mattress on a frame, but no foundation, so it was low and could be difficult for some older travelers. In the closet, there were two clothes rods - the upper bar was about 8’ above the floor, so it was totally out of reach. The bathroom had a good shower, a toilet and bidet - even a towel warmer. But there was no counter space, no shelves, not even a towel bar or hook. Our room had grab bars in the shower along with a shower seat. But there wasn’t even a soap tray. The hotel provides a bottle of shower gel, but keeps it on a wobbly small plastic table next to the basin. The living area had a rather uncomfortable couch that is taking a beating and a side chair, with another small wall mounted TV. The kitchen seemed adequate but generally unnecessary for our stay.

Great location, roomy apartment, super easy access with online keys. Great breakfast option at the Cooper!

The apartment was rather dark and felt a bit cold, not so much cosy. Kitchen was missing essentials like salt or oil. Would not recommend the couch for sleeping (if you travel with a group).
