The natural beauty of the place is so inviting and the food at their restaurant is very, very good. On their website they should notify that the bathrooms for each room are outside letrins BUT people are wlecome to use the restaurant's fully equipped W.C.

The main lobby area is due for an update. The furniture is worn out and it could be a more inviting space to hang out. The pool needs cleaning, not sure if they have a system in place.

Kind staff and great food, but not the best place to stay if you’re looking for comfort

All the staff was kind and attentive. The restaurant has an amazing view and the food is delicious.

The facilities are clean but if you’re looking for comfort this isn’t the place for you. My partner and I felt very uncomfortable using the bathroom, which is outside of the room and has a dry toilet that ends up developing a smell. Our room had only one fan which wasn’t enough for the heat, making it unbearable to be inside for more than a few minutes.

Great location right by playa Mermejita close to a very nice beach bar! Great view!

The place is overall dusty. The outside shower smelled like pee. Also the pool water didn’t seem clean and the float had some green algae stains.

Amazing views and relaxing spot with simple accommodation

Amazing spot on the edge of a beautiful beach. Great view of the sunset from the room and from the restaurant / bar. Very good breakfast and fun cocktails!

The room is very rustic which was fine and fitted the ‘beach shack’ vibe (toilet was outside and was a compost loo etc), but it was a bit of a surprise for a 4 star hotel. Check in was a bit messy (hard to find reception), and pool was a little dirty.

If you can score one of the upper bungalows with a terrace, you'll have a wonderful stay.

The view from the pool and dining area was incredible, though not overly comfortable as far as being a place to relax and read a book. You won't find lounge chairs by the pool, only a couple of wooden benches and two chairs.

I was travelling solo and for some reason they gave me a room that had two floors, two bathrooms, 3 double beds and a kingsize bed. My room was in the back by the road and although it had a small outside seating area, the area had no view and just some rickety benches to sit on -- lots of leaves and bugs fall on you while you're sitting out there--not a big deal at all but for the price I was disappointed. And then there was the school, which was great to see as I'm a teacher; however, I was also on vacation and it was quite noisy. Definitely no afternoon naps. I requested a different room but they said they were unable to accommodate.

They double charged me for breakfast at the place. They should be aware of what is being offered on the booking site vs what if offered at the location

Nice Pool

The pool and the beach facilities are nice. The owner / manager is always trying to make you feel comfortable and getting you everything you need.

There is no hot water in the hotel and the owner’s wife has a terrible way of treating guests, she thinks guests have no rights. We were woken up by people talking outside our room at 8 am and went to speak to her and as we told her that she actually laughed at us.

El hospedaje cumplió las expectativas, limpio, muy amplio, conectado con la naturaleza, sobretodo una excelente vista al mar, cuentan con buen internet en cada habitación lo que es un plus si tienes trabajo remoto , el acceso es un poco complicado por la terracería pero todo estuvo bien para llegar

Se encuentra descuidando, no se refleja que le den mantenimiento, la alberca estaba muy sucia durante mi estadía, el baño fue muy incómodo de usar para las mujeres y niños, tiene poca privacidad, no cuenta con aire acondicionado, el estacionamiento es muy complicado, llegar al hotel es complicado, no corresponde al costo/ beneficio
