The location was really good, and there are lots of breakfast store near by within walking distance, our personal favorite was ME LATTE, nice guy to the left. the hotel was clean, had nice views to the beach and was well within walking distance to the bars. the staffs were really helful when we needed help and yeah that was good .
Everything was good! we were satisfied, the owners, staff, even the residents there were amazing, we had good laughs and jokes, i would recommend.

Loved the Wifi and the location. Staff were very helpful for suggestions where I could buy things.
I didn't like being told i could only have a visiter in my room for 20 minutes. Not much ability for cross breeze for cooling with fan.

The terrace and the kitchen are pretty. The staff are lovely. The area is good you want to find a little more peace rather than staying in La Punta. There s everything you need around.

The staff was nice and helpful, the room and the kitchen was clean, the location was great. All in all a good stay in the hotel minus the internet situation.
The interned in my room almost didn't work and the staff just told me to go to the kitchen area to use good wifi. They said that there was a problem for 1 day but in 5 days the situation didn't change. I could barely send messages from my room with the hotel wifi so I was forced to use data for 5 days.
The doors had glass parts in it so lots of light was getting in the room from the hallway at night. If you're a light sleeper like me then don't forget an eye mask

The property is super noisy, the room was not ready at 1pm as promised, the room was not property cleaned and you have ants everywhere, you will have very thin sheets so no mattress protection, you will end up sleeping directly on the mattress which is really not hygienic. There is no hot water - this is not mentioned on booking, the wifi doesn't work anywhere - they claimed there is a problem of that part of the city - well in our previous accommodation in that city we didn't have the same problem. The electricity cables in the bathroom are next to the shower - never saw this in my life, looks quite dangerous. They serve food but watch out - we paid 4 eur for 2 orange juices that were not fresh, they didn't even inform us. Worst place we've stayed in Mexico. Staff is nice but they can't solve the problems.

it was clean, nice stuff, close to the beach, close to food
they misguide me, the add said, ‘front beach’ but it was about 2 blocks from the beach and the room didn’t have A/C

Really close to the sea and all the cafes/shops/bars. My room was spotless each day and there was even a welcome message with my name on when I arrived. Susie was a lovely, helpful and kind host who made all the difference. I had a balcony overlooking palm trees.
The hotel front entrance would shut after 11pm and there was a bell for guests to ring if they wanted to get in after that time. The bell would sound throughout the entire hotel, sounding like it was right in my room and wake me up in the night.

This place is perfect for a few days. The room was quite big with a good matress and pillows and quiet during the night, there is kitchen to use upstairs with a nice commun area, the staff is friendly and helpful and the localisation is good between Zicatela and La Punta. Nothing fancy of course but a good option for the price.

All the staff at Casa Tacuba are absolutely wonderful! We showed up last minute before Christmas after our original hotel bailed on us. Alan worked his magic and we were able to have a room for 2 weeks over the holidays (with a balcony!)! A beautiful big breakfast of fruit, granola, yogurt, honey, jam, toast, and coffee/tea was waiting for us every morning on the rooftop palapa. Susie is a lovely host, very caring! There's a clean communal kitchen to use and hammocks to chill out in. WiFi was decent and you can't beat the location. Elise cleaned our room often aND did such a great job. We were so impressed by the service and the warm environment! Casa tacuba made our Christmas and new year very special! Muchas Gracias Tacuba Familia! 💓

Susy (the wife of the owner) was a treasure trove of recommendations, and l loved the down-to-earth personality that she had.
I didn't like the other businesses on that street, Las Brisas.

The hotel is located very central, right at Zicatella Beach. The neighbourhood is fun, there are a lot of nice bars/restaurants and places on walking distance.
The staff in this hotel is exceptional!! So nice and helpful, they really made me feel at home. They surely put a lot of love and care in this place. The room is very clean, it has a private bathroom and a balcony. Even breakfast is included! Best price for the best stay & service!! Highly recommended. Thanks a LOT!!!

Terrible Experience, fan wasn’t sufficient to evacuate humidity and warm ness from the room... we couldn’t open the window too frequently because the balcony is directly situated front of sewers... we had terrible smells during day and night...
cherry on the cake we had cockroach visited us twice on the terrace and once in the room when we opened the door to let breathe the room...
Ps : No hot shower. Location on Zicatela not so bad.
