Lovely homebase in a vibrant beach town

Spacious rooms, beautiful and chill garden and good atmosphere. The staff is super kind and helpful. Location is amazing: still close to the beach but not close to the crowded street. Really good beds and a nice outdoor kitchen.

I'd prefer darker curtains.

Fine value for money.

It was quiet and the staff was nice.

The room we stayed in had a bad woodworn problem. The fans worked but we had to prop them up with pieces of wood because the stands were broken.

A stay in Puerto Escondido

Not sure. The people (staff) are friendly.

The place is a bit worn out. The rooms in the photos look better than they actually are. There is no reception. You enter the property with a code which unlocks a box with a key on a chain. You can have contact with the staff through Watsapp; they will be there when you need them.

The location

False advertising and misleading photos. Infrastructure was poorly maintained, services inadequate, and hygiene unacceptable. Bathrooms were dirty, lacked privacy, hot water, proper doors, clean toilets, towels, and mosquito nets. Host was threatening and refused refund despite rooms not being used.

Dirty and broken, it doesn’t match AT ALL the photos they promociones with the reality

WORST STAY EVER! FRAUDE ALERT! We booked the hotel through Booking and the pictures they show has nothing to do with the reality, first strike. I asked them in advance to add a bed because we had another person added to the reservation and they didn’t do it, so we had one person sleeping on the floor because of that. First night we didn’t had water in the toilet, showers, no drinking water and no light in the rooms, so no fan available. If you use the toilet, you cannot flush the water. With the heat, the smell was disgusting. We understood than contingencies can happen, so we went to the beach hopping that when we come back it was going to be everything settle. 5 hours later, it wasn’t. We have a baby and we had to sleep with sand in our body and with no light. We complained and they fixed it. When we arrive to the hotel the second night, same story all over again. We call the hotel administrator, we wrote them through WhatsApp and they ignored us. Third night exactly the same and we were fed about it. And they ignored us as well. Three days without proper bathing, no good conditions and we were paying to have this basic conditions. When they finally took our call we explained everything and we asked them for to give us back our money, because we weren’t able to spend one more day there without proper conditions, conditions that are basic and supposed to be covered because you as a client are paying for it. Please don’t spend your money here and don’t lose your valuable holiday time.

No host or reception. I had to do my best to find the keyes to open the doors: one separate key lock for the front door, one for the bedroom and one for the shower. Toilet and shower on the hallway. Very basic interior, No chair not table, No mirror.. And mosquito’s and ante in the room. And silverfish and poops of ?? On my bed.

Comfortable and peaceful stay

The place is very peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are quite spacious, clean and the interior design makes it look very calming. I love the earthy tones and simple look. The staff is also friendly and chill and we had a great stay.

The only downside is that the wifi is a bit weak at times, but it seems to be a common thing here in Mexico

We managed, but it was overpriced. Whilst we knew it was basic accomodation, we expected better.

The Location was good as it was close to the beach and main street but far ebough to avoid the noise from party hostels and night life.

there was very little water (shower had no pressure and there was no hot water, sometimes not enough water to flush toilet). internet connection was very unstable no air conditioning (although provided fan helped a lot) provided towels were old and a bit smelly

Beautiful courtyard for relaxing and amazing rooms, would recommend to stay!

The property featured an amazing courtyard and the king deluxe rooms were amazing. The rooms had windows either side which allowed for a nice breeze to cool the room. The hotel staff member was beyond friendly and went about her work quietly and with a warm smile, she was amazing!

The rooms were great but the shower had hardly any hot water or water pressure. The fan also made some noise when in use, still great value and would recommend to stay.

Such a beautiful garden and well decorated rooms. We had the suite and i’ve rarely experienced that level of comfort and luxury for a small budget.

Unfortunately, there is a party hostal next door and they… party until very late.

Good spaces to hang out in. The room was quite big and had a fridge which was handy. Drinking water available!

Superb

Nice place with a cute garden. Beach is in walking distance and we had a very good time. We went to a dolphin swim and a bioluminescent tour which was advertised by random locals on the beach. They were trustworthy and picked us up at El Eden.

The bungalow is ok for close friends and family, but since the toilet is at an open space connected to the other rooms it can be weird for new couples.

Tricked pictures! No recommend

La ubicación y comunicación

Tricked pictures. There's only one room with the hammock and the view, the other ones are not good. You have men working on the hotel so there's a lot of noise. They do you have windows or curtains in the bathroom so even you can't take a shower because there are men working that can see into the room. There are no windows so a lot of insects get in the room, the common areas are beside the room so you have noises of people everytime. No personal available for help or ask anything. Don't recommend at all

El Eden is a very cute little guest house. I stayed in the terrace/suite which has no doors, only curtains to keep out the elements, if you wamt to. I never closed them - it's so lovely to sleep (in a comfortable, mosquito net covered bed) so close to nature. The terrace looks over the gardens which are lovely, and to the ocean. The team were friendly and super helpful. Everything was kept clean. Plus it's only a short walk to La Punta beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

El jardín

Pagamos 30€ la primera noche, nos dijeron que no quedaban habitaciones por ese precio ( y luego vimos en Booking que si ) y Pedro nos ofreció una suite por 50€, pero nos cobraron 64€. Por WhatsApp dijo varias veces que costaba 1000 pesos y que el baño era privado, pero era compartido. Además, la entrada estaba en obras y había mucho ruido. No lo recomiendo. No cumplieron lo que habían confirmado.

El lugar fue bueno, me gustó la recámara, siento que tiene lo básico y es un lugar lindo para descansar.

Sólo que compartimos baño, a veces lo dejaban sucio los huéspedes de a lado y no se llenaba rápidamente el tanque

Por el precio que pagamos esperábamos algo más lindo y cómodo. Se asemeja más a un hostel que a una hostería.

El espacio exterior, la tranquilidad y la ubicación.

La relación precio calidad. Nuestro cuarto daba a la cocina y eso lo hacía muy ruidoso. Cuando llegamos faltaban las toallas y el papel higiénico. Cuando nos trajeron finalmente las toallas estas estaban muy usadas (manchadas). No tenía agua caliente y no nos lo habían comunicado.
