At the beach. Great vibe.

Great location - close to the beach. Spacious pool, tasty breakfast, very friendly staff. We got noisy room and got it changed for another night without any problem. Prices for food reasonable.

You need to be cautious about the rooms with sea view - these would be overlooking both sea and night bar/club, which is super noisy until 3-4am…

Good location. Plenty of food and shopping options. Walkable. Beach across the road.

The room we got was on the road side. Very loud bars pounding music until 3/4 am. Other rooms away from road would be better options. Paid for the breakfast included. Separate menu...value not worth the price. I would return here but would opt out of the breakfast package and negotiate a room change.

Zicatela Beach is not a particularly quiet location at night. It was okay for 2 nights. On the 3rd night there was a bar or club playing very loud techno music right across the street - so loud you could barely hear the TV above it - which went on until 5 a.m.

Well located room perfect for exploring the main attractions of Puerto Escondido.

The property was well located in front of Zicatela beach, with plenty of restaurants and bars close by. The staff were friendly and were always happy to help with any queries we had.

There was a slight smell of damp in the room, but otherwise it was clean so this wasn’t too much of a problem.

Decent but not great hotel along Zicatela beach

The entire staff were friendly especially the front desk. The pool was nice to cool off as the ocean waters was too rough to swim.

The AC didn’t work correctly the first night so made it uncomfortable the first night. I was moved to another room the next day and everything was fine. My room was a little small from what I expected but was functional.

Overall excellent stay and I would return to this place. Just very friendly and accommodating.

All of the staff, especially the older man that helped us with baggage. Very pleasant man, always greeted me and offered help.

There is one spot right outside the restaurant on the floor that is very dangerous. I tripped on it one night and almost went flat on my face (I’m 79). Needs to be fixed before someone gets hurt.

Rock On!!!

Miguel was the best. After a very frustrating journey down, he met us with positive energy and lifted our spirits immediately. The rooms were clean and really beautiful. Free breakfast was on point. Not your American continental breakfast by any means. Fresh squeezed juices and clean food.

I honestly have zero complaints. I loved it, and we will definitely be back.

Superb

We initially booked a standard room and slept the first night in it. However, we found the bed quite small, the AC loud and the bathroom tiny. Thus, we decided to upgrade to a deluxe room and it was a great decision. The room was spacious, with a super comfortable bed and a big nice bathroom. The location is excellent in Zicatella. The pool area is well taken care of, really pleasant. Breakfast was also very good.

The "standard" of the standard room, specially the tiny bathroom with a door that let sound pass completely, i.e., zero privacy. Therefore, we upgraded to a deluxe room. The standard option might be okay for one person. For pairs, I definitely recommend a deluxe room.

Very good location and nice hotel

I liked that the hotel staff was friendly and quick. Every time we had an issue, they came. They didn't really fix the problem but they came quickly. Breakfast was good!

I didn't like that we arrived in the morning, and they said we had to wait until 15 to check-in. They could say if the room is available, they will call us. It bothers me because the receptionist repeated it several times. And I get it, but you could say it once and add that if it were available earlier, you would call. The staff doesn't speak English very well.

Great place

The location is right on the beach, next to resturants, beachclubs, shops. Very convinent. Our hotel room was huge, the bathroom is very big and comfortable. The A.C is perfect- super cold! The t.v has Netflix, youtube connection which was fantastic! The staff was very nice, English speaking, helpful and quick. The fact the hotel had a whatsapp made it easier to communicate without going to the lobby for small questions. The pools are nice, you can have your breakfast and additional meals right next to them. Our room had a nice balcony, viewing to the pools. The gym is nice as well! The wifi is okay! There is also a parking around for our scooter. Hot water in the shower also. There is a water bar at the lobby so you can fill up more water everyday. There are many good thinga about this hotel. This is not a fancy hotel but it has many thing.

Breakfast- we waited 40-45 minutes for a simple breakfast and no one explained what happened until we asked. Our waitress answered in Spanish and another client helped with translating. This was not professional. The breakfast in general is very simple, but yet there are many options on the menu. It okay in total, but nothing special. The structure of the hotel is quite weird. complex, with many stairs going to different direction, like a maze but that is fine. Getting to your room is mostly throught the slippery pool area. Consider this If you come with an Alzheimer's sufferer.
