Good place to relax

Quiet area and fast internet. Very friendly, helpful staff. Very little attraction exists in land. You will most likely spend the majority of your time in La Punta, followed by Zicatela if visiting Puerto Escondido. The third and final region which categorises the town is Centro. Almost all visitors spend their time on the coast at La Punta or Zicatela. From the property, it is about 5 mins walk (uphill) to the main strip La Punta (which is 1 street, down to the main playa). You can alternatively access the beach within about 3 mins, and walk across. Since everything in La Punta closes at 11pm, the economy moves to Zicatela. This is approx 20 minutes on foot from Zicatela, so the property exists as a good staging ground between the two.

Shower could have been warmer. Underworked horse in the farm opposite outside my balcony.

Good enough if just need a place to stay

The staff was nice & close enough to beach & restaurants. Not right in heart of center so it was more quiet. The room was clean.

No hot water for shower, not enough towels. For four nights we had to use same towel. The room was cleaned once. The shower doesn’t have curtains so water went all over floor so could slip. If you open shower window mosquitoes come in. If you are on second floor you will hear chairs moving on the rooftop.

Kindest host, amazing facilities

The host is amazing! Upon arrival I got a room upgrade since there was a room with a balcony that was free - super kind! Everyday the room was cleaned, the AC and fan work perfectly! Check out time is 12h the latest, however, because my room was not booked for the night, I could use the room until I head to leave for my nightbus. This all without anything in exchange! Truly exceptional experience, would recommend this place to anyone coming to Puerto Escondido!

Perfect place to stay in La Punta!

We had such a pleasant stay here, Luis made sure we had everything we needed and overall he was an awesome host. Our room was clean and comfortable with great shower. It was very quiet during the night, and the AC and fan in the room were working well! The location was great as well, only 3 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from the street with all the restaurants. We highly reccommend this place!

cerca de la playa, cerca de la punta a 10 minutos. amplia habitación sin ruido. servicio amable. bonito jardin y la piscina. el dueño muy amable y buena onda.

el colchon se sumia, era un colchon muy delgado y de mi lado ya el resorte estaba hundido. asi que dormir cero comfort. las cortinas con manchas sucias de viejas no se pero se veian mal, ademas de muy claritas lo que hacia que el cuarto entrara mucha luz en la mañana. si ya tu reserva dice 2 personas y en la cama pones toalla para una pues ... no habia agua caliente y no nos dieron toalla para el piso del baño, tuvimos que pedirla despues de que se salio toda el agua cuando te duchabas. aunque uno pague por una habitacion basica debe estar con todos los servicios. tiene potencial el lugar ojala mejoren los colchones y demas detalles.
