It was rustic and beautiful.
Because businesses had burned across the street, there will be construction for a while. It was quiet at night.

Spent 6 nights. Loved the location a few steps from the beach, the tropical tree-house vibe, gorgeous pool, the amazing breakfasts ( they have food all day including a dinner menu). Hammocks, a communal fridge, hot/cold water dispenser. Personal attention from the staff (including Mony getting cheesecake brought in for my husband's BD!).
Extra showers and bathroom stalls around the pool. Rooftop lounges x2
Tip: if you need AC choose an AC room, not an open concept room ( which are pretty awesome just no AC).
Minor thing is that Cafe Ole plays music from AM to about 10pm. Sometimes gentle, much louder on weekends esp Saturday. Only minded it on Saturday.
Fortunately all music stops at 10/1030 pm in the village. (unlike Zicatela Beach area where nightclubs go till 4am)
PS we are in our 60's in this young hippie- vibe village of Punta and loved it. Fun, lively, peaceful, natural
9 cats are never in the way... they free roam, are fed by staff every day and are quietly unobtrusive

La habitación y la alberca
La recepcionista Mony nos dio una atención increible al check in, fue muy amable con nosotros. Sin embargo, la recepcionista que la cubrió en la tarde (Neza) no tuvo una buena atención con nosotros. Mony se desvivio en atenciones por nosotros, nos ayudó a darnos información, se aseguro que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos, nos ayudó a orientarnos y nos ayudó a hacer una rva en el spa, a las 4 pm aprox nos dirigimos a la playa, le preguntamos si nos daría tiempo de tomar el spa ya que no habíamos comido y me dijo que podría checar la posibilidad de cancelar el spa, estando en la playa marcamos 3 veces al número de la recepcion y nadie nos contesto, nos tuvimos que regresar al hotel para confirmar que si asistiriamos y nos comento que ya lo había cancelado y me saque de onda, le dije que si podía checar de confirmarlo y cuando marco escuche que le dijo al spa que había marcado hace 40 min para cancelar un espacio, que marcaba para confirmar que no hubiera el espacio ya, (lo cual se pudo haber evitado si hubiera contestado las llamadas), pero además se nota la indisposición de ayudar. Cuando le dije pero bueno es que ya te habíamos tratado de contactar me dijo lo siento no tengo el teléfono conmigo todo el tiempo, cuando llegamos de la playa ella estaba afuera del hotel platicando.
La experiencia no es algo del otro mundo, ni nos arruino la estancia, ni mucho menos, pero si nos hizo perder tiempo y si un poco de coraje de la falta de atención, la indisposición para ayudar y el desinterés en su trabajo, pero bueno.
