Magical, spotlessly clean, jungle like tropical oasis!! In love!!

Spent 6 nights. Loved the location a few steps from the beach, the tropical tree-house vibe, gorgeous pool, the amazing breakfasts ( they have food all day including a dinner menu). Hammocks, a communal fridge, hot/cold water dispenser. Personal attention from the staff (including Mony getting cheesecake brought in for my husband's BD!). Extra showers and bathroom stalls around the pool. Rooftop lounges x2 Tip: if you need AC choose an AC room, not an open concept room ( which are pretty awesome just no AC).

Minor thing is that Cafe Ole plays music from AM to about 10pm. Sometimes gentle, much louder on weekends esp Saturday. Only minded it on Saturday. Fortunately all music stops at 10/1030 pm in the village. (unlike Zicatela Beach area where nightclubs go till 4am) PS we are in our 60's in this young hippie- vibe village of Punta and loved it. Fun, lively, peaceful, natural 9 cats are never in the way... they free roam, are fed by staff every day and are quietly unobtrusive

Perfect location, fantastic staff, friendly cats!

This is the perfect location at La Punta on Zicatela Beach. There are many, many restaurants and shops right out the door. We loved the integrated gardens throughout the common areas and pool. The staff are fantastic. And we loved the cats!

Stay here if you're in La Punta!

Great location! Somehow Case Frutas y Verduras provides a private, quiet oasis in the hot, but great, beach town action. The breakfasts and all food items from Cafe Ole were fabulous and tasty. Most of all, our receptionists/hosts during our 5-night stay, Neja (spelling?) and Mony, were friendly, professional, and helped us with any questions we had or recommendations we sought. They, and the rest of the staff, really made our trip!

It was like a calm oasis in the heart of La Punta. The staff were so kind and helpful. We loved relaxing on the terrace between outings to the beach and our room was very comfortable.

Frutas y Verduras is the epitome of cheap and cheerful! It met my expectations in most ways.

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating! I enjoyed the laid back vibe, the "living room" with the mini fridge to store my leftovers. Also, the bed was more comfortable than I expected at this price point!

The towels both for the beach and for the bathrooms smelled funky like mildew or too sweet sweat.

La Punta's prime location is arguably best experienced at Frutas y Verduras. We spent just over two weeks exploring every corner of this house, one of the first in the area. Despite the lively atmosphere of La Punta, Frutas y Verduras offers a peaceful retreat. The service was exceptional, thanks to the very kind and helpful staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The property boasts several relaxing spaces, from the swimming pool to the main terrace. Our favorite spot was the 'eagle nest' atop the building, offering a spectacular view of the beach and surf lineup. Breakfast was also a highlight, featuring a delightful selection of toasts, waffles, crepes, and more. We truly felt at home, and a heartfelt thanks goes out to the entire team.

Gran lugar para descansar

El hotel esta super bien ubicado, solo a unos pasos de la playa. Desde que llegamos, Moni nos recibió con una cálida bienvenida a mi mejor amiga y a mi. Todo el personal estuvo atento a nosotras, dándonos recomendaciones, agendando tours y taxis. Un día mi amiga estuvo medio enferma, y Paty y Pepa se mostraron super preocupadas y atentas con ella. Muchas gracias por eso!

Si bien te hacen la limpieza de la habitación todos los días, preferiría no haberlo tenido que solicitar todos los días en recepción.

La habitación y la alberca

La recepcionista Mony nos dio una atención increible al check in, fue muy amable con nosotros. Sin embargo, la recepcionista que la cubrió en la tarde (Neza) no tuvo una buena atención con nosotros. Mony se desvivio en atenciones por nosotros, nos ayudó a darnos información, se aseguro que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos, nos ayudó a orientarnos y nos ayudó a hacer una rva en el spa, a las 4 pm aprox nos dirigimos a la playa, le preguntamos si nos daría tiempo de tomar el spa ya que no habíamos comido y me dijo que podría checar la posibilidad de cancelar el spa, estando en la playa marcamos 3 veces al número de la recepcion y nadie nos contesto, nos tuvimos que regresar al hotel para confirmar que si asistiriamos y nos comento que ya lo había cancelado y me saque de onda, le dije que si podía checar de confirmarlo y cuando marco escuche que le dijo al spa que había marcado hace 40 min para cancelar un espacio, que marcaba para confirmar que no hubiera el espacio ya, (lo cual se pudo haber evitado si hubiera contestado las llamadas), pero además se nota la indisposición de ayudar. Cuando le dije pero bueno es que ya te habíamos tratado de contactar me dijo lo siento no tengo el teléfono conmigo todo el tiempo, cuando llegamos de la playa ella estaba afuera del hotel platicando. La experiencia no es algo del otro mundo, ni nos arruino la estancia, ni mucho menos, pero si nos hizo perder tiempo y si un poco de coraje de la falta de atención, la indisposición para ayudar y el desinterés en su trabajo, pero bueno.

Bonita, acogedor, seguro y muy buen servicio.

Increible! Me encantó todo, tenia un poco de miedo porque vi algunas fotos en linea y me asuste un poco pero al llegar ahi estaba exactamente y mejor de lo esperado! El servicio es increible porque ademas te facilitan toallas, rebozos y sombrillas para la playa. De las mejores playas de puerto escondido, ambiente super tranquilo apesar de ser un “strip” para fiestas. A partir de las 10-11 pm hay 0 ruido, y aun antes de eso, el ruido no es molesto en los cuartos. Nos facilitaron un taxi super temprano en la mañana para nuestro check-out y ademas, el desayuno del restaurant vecino esta increible!!! Cafe Ole es la “vieja confiable” de punta zicatela. 😜 Los visitamos de luna de miel y nos hicieron el viaje excepcional. Muchas gracias!!

Las instalaciones son bonitas, está comodo y limpio. Todo el personal es muy amable, y es una gran ventaja que aunque esté lleno el café los huespédes pueden pedir el servicio del restaurante a las áreas comunes.

Gran ubicación cerca de la playa y zona de restaurantes. La alberca muy cómoda y fresca para el calor. La comida de la cafetería esta buenísima. Las chicas de recepción son muy amables.

Excelente alojamiento, instalaciones increíbles y el restaurante estaba riquísimo. La cama era muy cómoda y la alberca climatizada. Probablemente el mejor alojamiento de punta zicatela.

Todo genial, solo tener en cuenta que la música del Dj se escucha un poco en las habitaciones, para nosotros no fue un problema.

Una estancia sorprendente y agradable, si tienes espíritu joven, vale la pena.

El entorno, la playa cercana, la naturaleza, el mar. La gente, de todo tipo y muy jóvenes todos 'surfistas'. El hotel, la ambientación los detalles, la decoración, a veces sorprendente. La naturaleza, dentro mismo del recinto del hotel, incluso el nombre... La conexión a internet, eficiente. Mis expectativas se vieron sorprendidas por la realidad. No me lo esperaba lo que encontré pero me gustó.

Por decir algo, la música se escuchaba desde primera hora de la mañana hasta la noche (afortunadamente no muy tarde en la noche) y a un 'alto volumen' que a veces se hacia 'pesadita' y dependía del DJ.
