Fabulous! We loved it

The staff and service! Isabel, Michelle and Vladi as well as all the staff were exceptional in welcoming us and helping us through our stay. They were the highlight by far! We loved the bar, the food, the apartment and the pool. And the very attractive clients.

A really beautiful and charming hotel! Both the staff and other guests were lovely. I loved both the pool and the rooftop, the yoga and pilates classes I participated in were great. My room was a good size with a comfortable bed and great AC. I was also pleasantly surprised by the onsite food.

There was consistently construction noise next door during the day. This is outside of their control but did hinder the ambiance a bit. My shower was aesthetically pleasing but never got warm and had very low pressure. The location is quite close to the beach but does include a bit of a hill that is worth knowing about.

Great stay in Punta

Lovely new accommodation. Very modern, cosy set up with the pool and various nooks downstairs for working and chilling on the couches. Room was cleaned every day, beds are comfortable, with charging and light available directly in the bed. Lockers in the room and space to hang things to dry. Warm showers. Breakfast is good and not too expensive and they offer many sports classes or you can use the gym on the roof yourself, which is lovely.

Because of the co-work / hotel mix with hostel it’s somehow not the most social by the pool and downstairs as people are on their laptops. Also, you need to pay for the pool towels.. Location is a little bit of a walk from the beach / Main Street, but it’s not too far.

Wow, excellent stay all over. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff are friendly, the owners are good, hardworking people, and they built a wonderful atmosphere for guests to socialize without being a "party" hotel. Stayed at a fancier place later in the trip, and while it was good, it did not compete with the atmosphere of this place. Would choose Casa Toro every time Im back in La Punta!

Nice facilities, great staff - perfect to relax in Puerto Escondido

Nice room design, very cool common area to chill. The staff is incredibly nice. The location is not in the most comfortable spot, but still very close to the main road

For the price, the housekeeping service could be more attentive. On a few occasions, the bed was made but my clothes that were on it were thrown around the room and placed randomly elsewhere (for example, on the nightstand), which I found rather unusual. Also, breakfast is not available on certain staff rest days, though this was not a major issue.

Would 100% come back - loved it!

It felt like a real oasis, such a treasure in the craziness of La punta. The rooms were so cozy and the overall vibe was perfect.

The sauna wasn’t always available and there was no sun spots to chill out in after 11am. The massive hill you had to climb to get in was also not ideal.

Terra cotta beauty!

The staff was very welcoming and willing to help. I loved the fact that I was able to walk to wherever I was going for the most part. Michelle, gonzalo, and Vladimir were amazing! I highly recommend staying here when staying in La Punta!!!

Loved my stay here!

I loved staying at this hostel – it’s such a great place! I stayed in the female dorm, which was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s not the most social hostel, as there are quite a few couples staying in the private rooms, but the staff are incredibly nice and always up for a chat. Special thanks to Vladi, Mich, Gonza, and Norma (the volunteer), who made my stay just perfect. The location is also excellent – you can easily walk everywhere. I highly recommend joining the Sunday yoga and ice bath session; it was an amazing experience. Overall, I loved everything about my stay and I even came back a second time after a couple of days!

Everything was just fabulous! I have traveled all over the world and stayed in countless hostels, and this is one I won’t forget for all the right reasons. I had such an exceptional stay at Casa Toro! I originally booked 3 nights in the female dorm, because I'm normally not a fan of shared bed/bathrooms, but I ended up extending twice. For me personally it was great that it's a boutique hotel, and not a hostel. So it doesn't attract the party crowd, but it's still super easy to meet people there. The hotel is stunning, the location is great, amenities are perfect, but the best part is the staff! A special thanks to Kaitlin, Nuri and Gonzalo! Thanks for making my stay so amazing. Can't wait to come back!

Safe for a solo female traveler and fun

The hostel vibe was here with hotel standards. As it’s brand new everything is so clean. There is a party day vibe but also the health with the ice bath and sauna. The staff are all super nice and helpful. Hot water is also a luxury here

Puerto’s always been a magical place — but with this new hotel, it actually felt like home

I had such a great time at Casa Toro! The place is beautifully designed, the rooms are super comfy, and it just has a really good vibe overall. The location is spot on — super close to the main street where everything’s happening, but still nice and quiet at night. We joined a wellness event on Sunday which was such a fun surprise — great energy and really cool people. Also, shoutout to Nuria at the reception — she was so sweet and helpful, always with a smile. She really made us feel welcome. Can’t wait to come back!

The rooftop wasn’t ready yet (with bar & gym) , which is a shame because it looks like it’s going to be a really cool spot. But hey, just another reason to come back soon!

Casa Toro is a unique and vibrant place in Puerto Escondido. The design is stylish yet relaxed ad cozy, creating the perfect beachy atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, and the mix of private and social spaces makes it easy to meet people or just unwind. The bar by the pool is super cute, and the pool is amazing for relaxing during the day. One of the highlights was the sauna and ice bath – such a great way to recharge! We also had a yoga wellness event with a little DJ session, which made the experience even more special. Gonzalo at the bar is super friendly and makes amazing cocktails, adding to the great vibes. The gym and rooftop weren’t fully ready yet, but they already look sick—I’m definitely looking forward to seeing them on my next trip! Also, the location is perfect—just a few minutes’ walk from the busy area in La Punta where all the best restaurants and bars are.

Casa Toro is an incredible place, but since it's newly opened, there are still a few things being finalized. The gym and rooftop weren’t fully ready yet, but they already look amazing, and I’m excited to see them on my next trip. Also, the main entrance is still missing, but that’s just a minor detail. That being said, everything was super clean, and the atmosphere, the pool, the sauna, and the friendly staff made it a fantastic stay!

Bonito y limpio, pero...

Las instalaciones son limpias y cómodas. La cama king size nos ofreció un descanso reparador, inmejorable. El diseño del lugar es bonito y con estilo que combina sencillez, minimalismo y modernidad. La alberca es pequeña , pero linda y muy limpia. El personal fue siempre amable.

La ubicación no es la mejor. El hotel está en una calle estrecha y empinada, de difícil acceso para los automóviles. Además, si te interesa estar cerca de la primera línea de playa, es mejor que elijas otro alojamiento. Por último, nos tocó un corte de energía eléctrica por un par de horas. Eso implicó quedarnos sin luz, internet, aire acondicionado e incluso sin agua, porque sin luz no funciona la bomba. No fue grato pagar un precio elevado por el alojamiento para estar sin los servicios más básicos.

Alles was netjes, nieuw, proper onderhouden. Rustgevende omgeving. Personeel (Manon&Julia) was enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Locatie was prima, 4min wandelen van strand maar toch rustig gelegen. Bedden zijn comfortabel en voorzien.

El lugar es muy bonito, y muy tranquilo, la atención de los de servicio muy atenta. Además que el diseño del lugar es bastante instagrameable. Yo me quede en una habitación compartida con otras femeninas y todo en un ambiente de respeto.

Cero agradable

Casi nada, la piscina era bonita.

Tiene una distribución muy rara, la piscina queda enfrente de la puerta de 2 habitaciones. Cuando llegamos no había servicio de comida y tampoco de bar, llovía de una manera que no podías salir, así que aguantar hambre y no poder beber nada tampoco, habían unos chicos que estaban allí tomando algo que habían traído de fuera y no los dejaron, alguien lo entiende?? La zona de la sauna estaba estropeada durante toda nuestra estancia. Luego antes de las 8 de la mañana estaba en obras en el hotel, no podías descansar, comenzaban martillazos y taladros. Luego la clave para entrar al hotel no funcionaba, menos mal nos encontramos con un chico que decidió saltar la pared y nos abrió desde dentro. Eso si el personal muy majo.

Si buscas un lugar donde trabajar a distancia, y tener una estancia con ambiente tranquilo en un lindo lugar, aquí es perfecto! Además ofrecen ice bath y sauna, así como clases de yoga! Lo mejor es que incluía una visita gratuita a Wolfterrace ❤️ perfecto si buscas mantener el balance en tu viaje

Casa Toro es increíble para vacacionar en puerto, y trabajar si lo requieres, tienen un coworking increíble, wifi seguro, las instalaciones son preciosas, el desayuno riquísimo, el staff es super lindo! Muy atento y servicial, incluso extrañaré a Julia! Y mis amigos de la barra! ❤️ cuentan con ice bath y sauna, clases de yoga, perfecto en mis mañanas y lo mejor, al reservar contaban con un free pass para wolfterrace 💫 perfecto para mantener el balance en este viaje y aventura, amé casa toro ⭐️

Cómodo y tranquilo

Las noches que pase en Casa Toro estuvieron increíbles! El trato del staff super, al pendiente en todo momento, con mil recomendaciones, ¡y siempre una actitud de 10! Vladimir muy buena onda, siendo de mucha ayuda siempre y Gonza con una actitud y servicio excelente. Dormí super bien siempre, el alojamiento muy cómodo, cerca de todo, seguro. En definitiva regresare.

La clase de yoga en domingo esta increíble, ojalá hubiera más de una vez a la semana.

El proceso de check in se me complicó porque llevaba mucho equipaje, no me dio tiempo de checar el celular y envian un codigo para poder ingresar al hotel, toqué el timbre y nadie acudía. Esta parte no me gustó mucho. Creo que el servicio que obtuve en el bar y la alberca pudieron compensar eso.

Todo nos encantó el lugar súper bonito, cómodo y con muy buena vibra. La alberca está deli para pasar el rato y relajarte. Pero lo mejor sin duda fue el servicio: el staff es lo máximo, súper buena onda, atentos y siempre muy lindos. Nos la pasamos increíble, 100% volvería.

Lo único que podría mejorar un poco es la limpieza diaria de la habitación, no era mala, pero sí podría ser más detallada.
