Perfect location.

It’s very easy to access anywhere from the hotel. Especially, it takes about 2minutes from station to hotel.

There are so many things not allow to do during the stay. No amenities, teas, coffee kettle which means you can not drink anything in the room. Breakfast is inefficient as well.

Very good locqation for Grindelwald Train Station and Bus Station.

No refrigirator in the room. Breakfast is not sufficent. Electricity plugs are diffrent form EU. ( But the recepsion provides connector) Pillows are really very low and soft. I can say neary there are no pillows in the bed.

The hotel is ideally located, 2-minutes walk from the railway station and shops and restaurants. We paid for a balcony room, which made the most of Grindelwald's million dollar views. The room was well maintained, the cleaning staff were friendly. There was a nice little buffet breakfast included, signs were scattered about warning guests not to take anything from the breakfast room, (food doesn't come cheap in Switzerland).

Spectacular view

Excellent location. The view from our room was spectacular. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It's not 5 star but doesn't profess to be and delivered everything required for an excellent stay.

The bar closes at 8 30, which is a minor negative .

Super clean, nice staff, nice rooms and location

Breakfast was all cold foods but served for many hours and very fresh, good items. Staff are exceptional- all very nice and hard workers. Room was impeccably cleaned every day. Rooms with balconies have gorgeous mountain views. The room was very nice and comfortable. Great location right next to main train station and restaurants.

Stay for the VIEW!!

The location is the only reason for me to stay in the hotel: train station across the street and the backyard view you just can’t buy.

It is almost like AirB&B type. Limited breakfast items with only hot item will be tea and coffee.

A great base for exploring Grindalwald and surrounding alps.

Located by the railway station and the main road of Grindalwald. The room was clean and comfortable with sufficient room for us and our suitcases. Owners and staff were friendly and helpful.

Star location with stunning view of the Eiger from the private balcony

The location was superb. 2 minutes walk from Grindelwald train station. 2 minute walk to the bus station. 3 minute walk to the supermarket. The view of the Eiger from the private balcony was impressive. The breakfast which was included was lovely and filling. Room was cleaned daily. Bathroom functioned 100%. The room was quiet, hence perfect for a solo traveller like myself.

Excellent breakfasts full of local goodies starting from a real butter, rye bread and a nice selection of the local cheese. The food quality not available in Canada anymore, where cattle are fed with corn and never visit a posture. Jan and Margaret

It was a good comfortable stay.

Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was a good continental breakfast. The location is directly across from Grindelwald station. It was perfect. Please be aware that it is the Grindelwald station that you want. Staff responded quickly to any questions I had.

It was great!

It was a perfect stay. The view from the balcony was amazing and I was looking at the amazing view for more than an hour. The room was clean. The breakfast was very delicious. The owners were very kind to me. They cared about the weather and gave me advice. I would love to stay again! Highly recommended.

Everything was good. They could improve a bit in their breakfast. room was so clean, everyday they are making it good. City view room's view was amazing also, to get Eiger view room, you need to book one year before.

An exceptionally confortable 2 week stay at the Bel Air Eden.

The location is exceptional. It is about 100m from the main rail station so very convenient if travelling by train. Our room must have had one of the best views in Grindelwald - our balcony had an uninterrupted view over the lower areas of the town with the Eiger N face as a backdrop - superb! The hotel is very well appointed and kept spotless. The staff are very friendly and helpful;. Breakfasts are excellent. The hotel is rated 2 star but I would argue that this rating is unfair.

Nothing - except that "mine host" did not know how thw new trains had been transported up to Murren - but then neither did the Tourist Office!

Perfectly located, friendly, clean with amazing views and good value

My single room had a balcony with an amazing view of the Eiger. I had asked for a room with a balcony and the owners were very good at responding to my emails and my requests. The room was very clean and would have been cleaned every day unless I asked otherwise. A good shower and clean towels whenever I wanted them. The hotel was in an excellent location, just round the corner from the main train station but very quiet, which I loved. The breakfast was continental, fresh and offered an amazing fruit salad with soaked oats/muesli. Very tasty. Alot of info about the local area and activities/excursions in the lobby and in your room.

A ski week in Grindelwald

Location fabulous. Value for money in Grindelwald was excellent. Continental breakfast was perfect.

I booked a standard room and for me was good though I recognise some people prefer more modern surroundings. My room was clean and comfortable and everything I needed.

This 2 star hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and a room with a great view. Located right near the station, shops and restaurants as well as the sports centre with heated pool. Peter the host was very friendly. Breakfast was great, lots of food and fast service wiht the coffee which was refilled.

Good value for money stay

Very nice, family-run hotel. Great location, just next to the train station, close to the village centre but without the crowd passing under your window. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was cosy and very clean. The interior might be a bit dated but has some kind of charm. Comfortable bed and good breakfast, everything that one needs for a weekend stay.
