Great location, lovely and modern, would recommend.

Lovely, clean and modern. It was also very warm. The cleaners came in each day.

Having to check in at another hotel, although it was very close and the staff took us round in the car which was really appreciated. It would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room. I think we must have been located directly above the kitchen as it was quite noisy at night.

It is a fantastic location right on the street but that does make it noisy, especially when opening the windows. There are no basic coffee and tea facilities in the room and those available in the shared area are not replenished so could not be used.

The bed felt as though it was carved from the alps. With a pillow & blanket. Two single bed that were rock solid, pushed together with two single blankets & hurt both my partner and i’s backs… other than that, not bad really but

Not a comfortable place for a tourist

Location

There was no reception at the hotel! Very hard to locate other hotel entrance to check in. There was no AC or fan available for thd hot climate. Had to open windows at night to get some air but mosquitoes would get in.

Great view, awesome location, clean room

The location was just perfect, comfy bed with all basic amenities. The view is great as well.

It’s opposite to a pub called avocado so it may become noisy at night. In summer it was a bit hot for one night the place does not have a fan so carry a portable one if you are travelling in summer. The room has low ceiling, however since we both are below 6’ so it was fine for us but for tall folks it may be an issue.

The staff waiting outside Hôtel Pinte seemed quite unfriendly. No eye contact no smile. Although the room was large. For the price I would have expected more basic facilities such as a kettle. Also the room had a very strange smell- I think from the drains.

Grindelwald is a fantastic place to visit

Fantastic location, lovely restaurant and nice large room

All access is via stairs. Not clear on booking and also check in is in another hotel, which we had stayed in the previous night. They said they would transfer our bags but didn’t. Shared tea and coffee facilities despite the size of the room. I would say over priced based on these things.

Staff is very helpful and very friendly in attending us. Room amenities is luxury.

The hotel room for Pinte should have a room telephone so that guests could call the reception easily. And also they do not provide kettle inside the room.

Good location & nice room

the location was great! Not too busy, but in a very convenient location and could walk everywhere which was really nice. Was nice that they had a parking garage as well as the parking garage for public parking was a bit of a walk away.

Checking in was a little bit confusing as the hotel is labeled as its own building, but you actually check in to the main hotel building.

Noisy and small at a steep price

Worn bathroom with only shower in bathtub which was to low to stand under at 175 meter. Directly over noisy terrace and street

I can say that it was clean

the place is so disappointing, doesn’t worth the money and it is very noisy there you can’t even sleep, I booked for 2 nights but couldn’t stay and payed more to upgrade into the other hotel

The checking at the main hotel above. Person at the front desk was the least friendly of our Swiss tour. And the whole checking in at the nice fancy hotel makes you feel like a second class citizen.

Great value luxury style stay

Beautiful boutique style hotel with large rooms, comfortable beds, very clean and our room had an amazing view of the mountains. Can’t fault the room or the services we had an amazing stay.

The parking is a rip off compared to anywhere else in the area or anywhere else we had been in Switzerland. 10/10 if they didn’t over charge for parking.

Not a good experience. Advise to read carefully the reviews to understand to which hotel they refer

- location is quite central and well connected - staff was helpful and did their best to help us

- the room we were assigned smelled bad. We were assigned a new room which was smaller than the one we originally booked - the room was not soundproof and we struggled to sleep as there was loud music coming from the bar in front of the hotel - the hotel Pinte itself doesn't have a reception. Whenever we had a query we had to go to the reception at the Bergweld hotel. Check-in and check-out wasn`t easy due to the distance between the two hotels and the fact that there is no parking close to Pinte hotel - the ski room of the hotel, was not a ski room but a deposit not suitable to store skis . Pictures attached After seeing the first room, the ski room and considering the way we were treated during the check in (if you come as guest of the Bergwelt hotel you get a high touch service, if you are a guest of the Pinte hotel you are almost ignored), We wanted to leave and asked for a refund. A staff member offered us a new room, let us use the ski room of the hotel Bergwelt (which was a proper ski room) and gave us a free entry to the spa. Considering the late hour and that our stay in Grindelwald was compromised, we accepted the offer but I must say that I have never had such a bad experience in a hotel. I found the advertisement and the reviews on booking misleading. Most of the rating, the reviews and the features of the hotel are not related to Pinte but to Bergweld instead.

amazing stay at a lovely ski resort:)

everything was great, amazing service from all workers since pickup, to reception, bar, restaurant, spa and all, everyone was so nice and attentive.

If I have to say anything I would only say that the spa, which is marvellous, in my opinion is lacking a small cold water pool to dip in after enjoying the great saunas(specially the 95degree fire one which is amazing)I know the space is limited so outside in front of the warm jacuzzi pool would be a great suggestion:)

Enjoyable, comfortable stay with a fantastic free breakfast.

Excellent breakfast and minibar included in the price. We were upgraded to the sister hotel, Bergwelt Grindelwald which was a welcome and pleasant surprise. The room was nicely designed and the hotel had great facilities. Within walking distance of just about everything in Grindelwald. Well equipped rooms.

The lighting in the room was quite dim so at times it was difficult to see, especially in the wintertime with shorter daylight hours.

Best place to stay in Grindelwald.

Excellent breakfast to start the day. Room location was perfect, with a beautiful view overlooking the street and the majestic mountains. Wonderful assistance rendered to my wife and I by the gentleman that I missed out on his name. He assisted with our luggage up the stairs, helped to get us the kettle and bedroom slippers and always with a warm smile. He was the gentleman that drove the hotel's transport to pick up guests.
