Nice comfortable hotel with beautiful view

The view from the room is beautiful. Bed firmness is just right. The coffee machine is nice. The small kitchen in the cupboard is useful & cool. The Steak we ate in the hotel restaurant was nice. Spacious with a separate bedroom, dining table in the living room area that also has 2 single beds. One bed has roof top window that can view stars at night

A bit difficult to travel there with big luggage. A bit pricey, partly due to the festival season. Check-in only starts at 4 pm, with nobody at the reception area before that time.

Amazing hotel, amazing stay

The property has the best view, we love it! The staff are very friendly.

I think the check in is a bit late, 4pm. We had a weekend trip, so we would like to enjoy the view of the hotel. The breakfast is pretty basic, but enough for us. There was no butter or mustard for the eggs, only ketchup and mayonnaise.

Great view, basic facilities, poor communication

view was great bus into town was easy, once we knew about it. Room was spacious. Staff were lovely

lack of communication we booked this property because it has a restaurant and bar with amazing views, alas it wasn't open but no communication on the property website or booking.com to advise. If we had known that we would not have booked this property because it meant heading into town for food, which at night is an uber/taxi. On arrival reception was not manned and therefore no run down on anything at the property, we tried phoning and no answer. Breakfast - continental breakfast, the milk was off so that had me concerned about the age of the meat and eggs. I would prefer tea and coffee facilities in the room not in the hallway

The hotel’s location is excellent, offering a majestic mountain view that can be enjoyed right from the terrace balcony. Being able to step outside and take in the snowy scenery and nature was truly special. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained, the staff were accommodating and friendly, and the breakfast was fine. The nearby Bus No. 124 was also very convenient for getting around.

Breakfast options were limited. It would be better to have more variety or rotating choices each day.

Great views, authentic Swiss chalet

The staff was super nice and the views of the hotel are incredible. We even saw a meteor shower from our balcony!

The view is unbelievable 😍 The place is so comfy and warm.. The space of the room was nice and the balcony as well. I liked the breakfast buffet. I met one of the owners, her name is Eren. she was so lovely and nice.

There are not many options of restaurants in the surrounding area. The bed is good but it could be better.

Beautiful view and cosy stay

Beautiful view! Even though we didn’t have great weather, we sat out on the balcony and every so often it would clear a little and you could see the amazing view. Large room with some traditional Swiss charm, very comfortable and cosy. Parking is behind the hotel. Great breakfast with a good spread and local products to try. There is a small mini fridge in the room but also a kettle and microwave on the floor for communal use. No aircon, but for us this wasn’t needed in September. Very friendly and welcoming women at reception.

Location and awesome, panoramic view of mountains! Katerina at Reception was exceptionally warm and helpful.

1). Being a couple in our 70’s with bad knees, walking up the steep hill with luggage to the property was not easy. 2). There was no one at reception desk from 11:00-16:00.

Pretty hotel with a nice room and balcony. Breakfast was good. Reliable (ie Swiss) bus service to town, station and lifts every 30 mins from only 5 minutes away from the hotel. Great Mountain Views and very peaceful.

Loved the room, views and breakfast. Clean, quaint and very Swiss.

The view was magical, we had a mountain view room with a balcony. We had to leave the windows and balcony door open at night to sleep due to no air conditioning, happy we travel with fans. Breakfast was good, many options. Room was clean and had a refrigerator, which we loved.

We were not informed how high up on the mountain this hotel is located from the middle of town. Would have liked some information about the easiest way too arrive at the hotel from the train station.

Poor service which was a shame due to the beautiful location

Good location and beautiful surroundings

When we checked in the roof window had been left open and a section of the room was saturated including the seating area and carpet as it was raining heavily. The staff refused to compensate us for this and we could not move rooms as the hotel was full. The room smelt damp and mouldy for the three nights we stayed with no compensation despite not being able to use the whole room. The description of the room was inaccurate, describing it as two bedrooms with mountain views. There was in fact one room with another bedroom off it. And the views were not what was shown in the photos.

Amazing accomodation in Grindelwald!!!

We had the most amazing stay at Hotel Gletscherblick! The staff from the moment we arrived were absolutely fantastic and so accomodating, we felt right at home! The view from our balcony was the most beautiful thing and the location was perfect for all our needs either a bus close by or a short walk into town. Breakfast was great and filled us up for most of the day. We will definitely be back!!!!

Wow! Exceptional. From the moment we walked in we were treated so kindly. Amazing view from the room which was spacious and clean. Good nights sleep. Fridge to keep the prosecco cold and a tea station outside the room. Fizzy water provided. Breakfast was delicious! Lots on offer and gluten free bread provided.

The view of the balcony is stunning! The location is a bit far from the city centre, but it can be reached by bus. The room is quite comfortable and the staff are so helpful. The breakfast is good, especially the croissant and the yogurt!

One of the best apartment in Grindelwald

The view from Duplex apartment was spectacular. Quite pricey but worth of it. Spacious unit and suitable for family. Breakfast was good as well. This would be best choice if you are driving as it is located at uphill. However, public transport available to those get off grindelwald station. Kitchen is fully equipped so you can have your own cooking.

There was some unpleasant smell when we check in. Informed hotel staff. Housekeeping staff came and cleaned. After that, no more bad smell. The hotel staffs were very responsive.
