Authentic local feel

It’s located close to everything, just minutes from the train station. you can walk to the lake and several coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel has an old charm and a very local feel to it. They allowed early check in, which was very nice.

We stayed in August - The room we stayed in didn’t have an air conditioner, and it got very hot during the day. There was no fridge or kitchenette . Only two electrical plugs in the room, which we had to use for small fans to control the temperature- so it was a bit of a juggle to charge any devices.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Metzgern in Sarnen. The hotel’s central location near the train station made it convenient for exploring the area. My room was comfortable and nicely decorated, providing a relaxing environment.

Room price a bit too high for what was offered. I found the breakfast was a bit too simple, although the staff was extremely helpful for extra wishes.

The room is very clean and the washroom is morden. Good. The hotel is located near the train station. Very convenient.

The hotel is closed to the street and lots of cars. It's so noisy all day, even in the midnight. The room is to hot. I open all the windows but in vain. Too noisy and warm to stay. Bad experience.

Super room!

Beautiful place, great location and room was awesome! It was junior suite. Breakfast was good, I asked for eggs and it made my meal great again :) we were there for one night. There was also parking available for free.

Right in center of Sarnen. 5 minutes to train/bus station. 15 minutes walk to lake.

The establishment is big and centrally located. Also, the dinner was good.

The hotel manager was not friendly or proactive. We would have expected more for the value we paid for. Also, breakfast choices were limited.

War ein zweckmässiges Hotel für einen Anlass mit Freunden im gleichen Hotel.

Frühstück war unterdurchschnittlich. Zimmer war relativ neu ausgebaut, der Nassraum auch. Der Schallschutz zu den benachbarten Zimmern war völlig ungenügend.

Erg vriendelijke dame die het inchecken deed. Niets was teveel voor haar.

De manager moest even ontdooien, maar was zeker correct. Verder werd ik erg vroeg wakker omdat een man in de kamer naast mij zijn wekker (Mobiele telefoon) een kwartier liet trillen. Hij werd er niet wakker van, maar ik wel! ;-)

Super nettes Hotel an perfekter Lage.

Super freundlicher Empfang, schönes, praktisches Zimmer. Ich konnte mein Fahrrad unkompliziert abstellen und dass ich mitten in der Nacht abreiste, war auch kein Problem. Leider konnte ich das Frühstück nicht geniessen.
