Location was great and the staff was really helpful

Our room would needed some renovation, what was shown on the commercial were not meeting the room. I would aimed for a refurbished room for the money.

Location

Booked a room for 2 adults and single bed as per request. Hotel sent reservation confirmation by email At check in I’ve asked for single bed, lady at evening shift replied : I’m alone and I cannot do anything. You should have called to follow up the request even if received email confirmation of the reservation.

Charming hotel, great location

Breakfast was a good variety and enough. We loved the fruit selection and coffee was great! Location of the hotel is excellent! Right in the center, walkable distance from everything we needed. We rented a bike from Mauro (suggestion of the hotel). Service was very kind, thank you very much!

Overall, a good experience, we will come back to Grado, but I think we will choose another hotel next time

We like the fact that the property is in a good location, on the pedestrian street, close by the city center (but in a more quiet area), delicious restaurants and one supermarket. The hotel is very close by a private beach which is closed with a fence and expensive (25 eur/ day for 2 sun beds and 1 umbrella and usually not even available as many are reserved upfront with abo). If you are lucky you get a place on the 8th row from the sea, otherwise you have to walk further to the left. Unfortunately this is one thing I didn’t like about Grado - majority of the beaches are private and expensive, so would be good to check before booking the vacation the locations with private vs free breaches. The hotel rooms are renovated and spacious, the cleaning ladies from our floor (2nd) were really nice and did a great job every day. The bed mattress was a bit hard - I like it, my husband didn’t. The lounge area next to the reception is not yet renovated, but it didn’t bother us as we didn’t spend much time at the hotel. We loved the indoor swimming pool from 3rd floor - it is usually not busy at all and we could enjoy couple of hours being alone at the pool. The breakfast was average, but ok - same food in all days

The street parking situation in Grado is difficult (not many places available and 6 eur per day which you have to pay daily, no upfront reservation possible) and it is great that this hotel offers garage parking. However, we didn’t like that we had to leave the car keys at the reception for them to move the cars constantly. Even though we paid 15 eur per day for the garage parking, we didn’t have the flexibility to use the car multiple times / whenever we wanted and we were stressed that the car might be hit. It would be good if they wouldn’t overload the garage with more cars than it’s capacity. The ladies at the reception are not very friendly - it would be nice if they were a bit more smiley especially when people stay for longer days at the hotel.

Nothing wrong with the plac,e just not ideal for me

The location was good, very close to restaurants, old town and the beach (which is unfortunately one where you have to pay an entrance fee). The indoor pool (salt water) was really nice, clean and spacious.

The interior of the hotel is very dated and I prefer more modern or renovated, which is a bit difficult to come by in a place like Grado.

Great and comfy as always

Breakfast buffet was standard but very good quality. Personell was very friendly. Service was great as always. The Hotel is very well located close to the center. Its a traditional Hotel of Grado.

Tasty breakfast, very nice room, super close to the beach. All in all it was very good and we enjoyed our stay.

The ac didn't work or the heat. There was a blood stain on the curtain. The showers were so small I couldn't even make my mind up in it. The old fashion key entry is a pain. The pool is freezing and not kid friendly. No iron or board.

Annoying blinking of smoke detector during the night. Not hotel problem, but some guests are rude and chit-chat out loud on the hallway at night, people think on other guests you´re not alone in the building!

Exceptional

Breakfast genial, buffet und service top. Bedrooms, confortables, cleans, very good. Schwimwad in the hotel, with the see' water, very good. All the preventions for the Covid 19, very good. The personel simpatic and very nice. They have a privat parking for you, you have to pay, but if you less your car outside, also. Near the center, beech, restaurants, realy genial. Very good hotel, for all the sides.

Ruhige Lage, nur 2- 3 Minuteen zum Strand, Restaurants, Supermarkt. Meerwasser-Schwimmbad Temperatur richtig für Schwimmer, Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig (Eierspeise, warmes Gemüse, auch mehrere Süßspeisen) Sehr gute Angebote auch für Alleinreisende speziell in der Nebensaison (bei anderen Hotels nicht selbstverständlich)
