They have renovated the commons areas which is a nice upgrade

We use this hotel for a good over night option between St Malo and Skiing. Can check in late. Breakfast is nice. Does for a family room option.

I have stayed previously and knew the location which suited my travel plans .

Breakfast was adequate , I would have liked more freshly cooked hot options .

There was still renovation work going on . The car parking is very cramped .

Arrived to find the reception area a building site. The electricity was about to be turned off for two hours so the lift was not working and we had been given a fifth floor room. We objected (of course) and were changed to a ground floor room - accessed through the building chaos with plaster on the floor. The room was in darkness but fortunately it did not last the two hours.

Excellent overnight stay when travelling

Excellent hotel for an overnight stay when travelling through France to Spain. The restaurant and bar facilities were very good and so was the breakfast. Plenty of parking in the hotel grounds and not far from the Motorway.

Disappointed

Location. Useful stopover en route to Caen EV charge points so we could charge our car up overnight. Breakfast buffet was delightful. Large choice of cereals, bread, eggs, jams and even loose leaf teas!

Major refurbishment of the reception, dining, leisure and lounge areas until March 2026 in progress which means the ground floor is like a building site. On a minor point there were no cups, mugs or milk provided in our room so we had to drink black tea and coffee out of glasses. I felt the hotel could have done something to make up for the upheaval like offering free breakfast maybe?

Breakfast was fine, the usual continental selection, which was quite nice & fresh. The bed is quite comfortable, but the room is a little hot. We had dinner that evening, which was very reasonable and nice.

Only one disabled parking spot with a car in it, which didn't have a disabled ticket in the screen, which was rather annoying, on the whole, the hotel was fine and comfortable.

Great apart from the o pool parking issue .

I had a problem getting into my car in the morning as someone had parked so close I couldn’t even reach the door . The hotel doesn’t register clients registration numbers so the owner could not be contacted !!! Very bad !!!!

Unusable unless you enjoy slumming it.

Not much. Dinner was served in a conference room, which lacked atmosphere - however the food was acceptable

After I had booked the visit, I received an email stating that renovation work would be taking place during my stay, but that "all usual hotel services will continue as normal during the renovation works. Our breakfast service and restaurant will remain open without interruption. While we complete this exciting project, we appreciate your patience and understanding. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause." This was factually incorrect - Although the restaurant facilities had been moved to one of the conference rooms, the bar was closed from mid-afternoon. When I visited the bar in the afternoon, the female bar attendant was very reluctant to serve me, but was told to do so. She served me with very bad grace and overcharged me by 1€, although I didn't detect this until later at dinner, when I was shown a drinks menu). She then proceeded to direct other staff in removing all the bar furniture until my table and chair were the only ones left. When I visited the bar area after dinner, I found it blanked off with a portable screen, and was told that it was closed. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this class - even Campaniles provide a proper bar service. The bedroom, while of adequate size, had a totally inadequate desk-space - barely big enough to hold a computer. This hotel should be closed until the renovation work (which should include re-design of the rooms) has been completed. As it currently stands, it is grossly over-priced.

Convenient location and a lovely hotel which we hope to stay at again.

The breakfast was excellent. We appreciated being given a ground floor room for easy access for my disabled husband. The restaurant was also very welcoming although because of allergies, staff found it difficult to recommend something we could both eat. Chef did us proud however. Thank you.

Given the price, I wonder if the hotel could make daily newspaper available. We like to catch up on news and find a film to watch.

Fantastic stop over if you have dogs.

ALL staff are lovely and welcoming. A great stop over when travelling with our four dogs. Easy parking and space to exercise dogs. Very important! Very clean. Spacious rooms with separate toilet and shower.

A bit dated but we have stayed a few times and can see that rooms are being decorated and upgraded.

A pleasant business hotel with excellent restaurant.

The restaurant was very good, food and wine excellent at dinner, efficient and pleasant staff. Breakfast also good until I realised the “gluten-free muesli” wasn’t! I was blowing my nose with runny eyes all day! They need to take allergies seriously. We could have our dog in our room but not in the restaurant. WiFi good. EV chargers worked.

We never like the separate toilet with no hand wash basin in it but that’s the norm in France. I’ve already mentioned the NOT gluten-free “gluten-free muesli”.

Great place ruined by a room hotter than the sun

Great place, really friendly staff and good food

The room was incredibly hot with no ventilation. The fan is just a noise generator and you can't have the curtains/windows open as the floodlights point directly into the room. If booking, ask for the swimming pool side. Otherwise great and we would revisit but will always request the 'cool' side
