Clean and efficient, the staff were very helpful.
A big shoutout for Louise, in the restaurant, she went above and beyond, even getting water for our two dogs

Location. Useful stopover en route to Caen
EV charge points so we could charge our car up overnight.
Breakfast buffet was delightful. Large choice of cereals, bread, eggs, jams and even loose leaf teas!
Major refurbishment of the reception, dining, leisure and lounge areas until March 2026 in progress which means the ground floor is like a building site.
On a minor point there were no cups, mugs or milk provided in our room so we had to drink black tea and coffee out of glasses.
I felt the hotel could have done something to make up for the upheaval like offering free breakfast maybe?
