Good spot of quietness to explore Tours.

We found the beds (two singles) a bit small as we are used to larger size in USA. We understand it’s the norm in France (Europe perhaps), so it’s just an observation.

Perfect location near Tours, and a friendly tranquil experience!

Virginie & Dominique are model hosts and very welcoming. The property and gardens are also superb and set in a very quiet locale. The convenience of a short walk to use the amazing Tours tram system was exceptional, and we felt very much at home in the town. We commend the home made fare presented for breakfast, and the whole stay was just fantastic. Well done for providing such fantastic hospitality and guidance. Even presented us with a city tour and attractions guide to assist our stay. Fantastic!

Warm welcome

Lovely breakfast with homemade yoghurt and jams. Host was very helpful in directing us to tram taking us to the heart of Tours.

The property was charming! Beautiful old house, magnificently kept with a lovely garden. About 15 min walk to the tram station or 3 km if you like walking to town centre, this was easy access to lively Tours centre. The bedroom was very comfortable and well appointed with a spotless bathroom and a nice shower. The bed was particularly comfortable. the breakfast was rich, homemade and good!

Exceptional Hospitality in a Beautiful Setting

I gave a 10 because everything exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was delicious and varied, a great way to start the day. The hosts were incredibly kind, always available, polite, and welcoming – they made us feel right at home. The house is beautiful, with a stunning outdoor area that feels like a peaceful countryside escape in the heart of the city. It's also very close to the city center and easily accessible by public transport. A truly special place – I would definitely return!

There was a wonderful personal touch to everything. Dominique and Virginie made every effort to make things perfect.

There were no eating establishments within walking distance and there was no food permitted in the room.

wonderful old little farm just a few tram stops from Tours city center. the owners are very kind and provided us with tickets for the tram and prepared a very nice breakfast. There is also the possibility to park the car inside the gate. We will return

Beautiful B&B on the outskirts of Tours

A beautiful B&B with beamed rooms and a lovely garden to sit out as it was so hot when we visited. homemade yoghurts and jams for breakfast, and some of the best baguette and croissants I have tasted (and I have tasted a few). A short drive from lovely Tours which has a million dinner options. The perfect B&B. I could even charge my car there overnight, albeit at 3.7kW.

Home made produce was good for breakfast. Owners were friendly, helpful, and 'good company'. The garden was a major benefit during the very hot weather - for relaxing, reading and having one picnic. We were made to feel very welcome. Also given good advice on how to go into Tours without the car - as the location is in the outskirts of the city.

Great place, lovely hosts!

This is a lovely place in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to the old city of Tours and its attractions. The hosts were very helpful in suggesting places to see, even during our brief visit. The beds and bathroom were very nice, as was the breakfast.

The only thing that I would caution is that (as in most lovely historic European buildings) there is no aircon. It was pretty warm in our room during a hot summer day, though there was good cross-breeze that eventually cooled it off at night.

Did NOT stay. It was untenable and proprietor shd have forewarned or given us chance to cancel. cancelled

on the face of it quite nice. reality very different.

We arrived in a major heatwave. The room we were allocated (Leonard da Vinci) had no ventilation except tiny skylight wt portable air cooler. V noisy and totally inadequate. The room temperature was around 30deg!! Room itself was not in the main house but a converted attic in the extension to the original house. Would never have booked it in ANY circumstances had we known. Website v flattering. no WiFi. no window or extractor in bathroom. It shd not be advertised without clear explanation.

A wonderful stay, where we were looked after by an extremely kind and hospitable couple.

The location was very convenient - access was simple from the autoroute and Google Maps helped us find the property with ease. The setting is delightful and very peaceful. The breakfast was wonderful - delicious pastries and jams, and gorgeous home-made yogurt. When we arrived, tired after a long drive, our host, Dominique, very kindly booked a restaurant for us and drove us there - above and beyond the call of duty! We stayed in a beautiful, character-full room, which was extremely comfortable.
