Amazing place with quirky and wonderful design throughout. Staff were terrifically friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is straight from a design magazine and the grounds and surrounding property are exceptional (weather permitting) to sit and enjoy a tea or walk down toward the water. Dinner was terrific and creative.

Nice traditional location farmhouse off the city of Tain on Road 500, not too far from Inverness, in a nice relaxing Scotland countryside. Close to the coast & access to a public beach. Whisky tasting from the homonymous liquor company acting as its guest house.
Pretentious interior design has ruined this location, mixing contemporary design with hideous decorative bling bling artefacts from both local crafts and international styles. Freestanding colourful Giraffe welcomed us in our over decorated room with a mixture of textiles unseen before. False luxury at its worst from French House LVMH, owner of the whisky brand giving its name to this infamous place. Unnecessary bloody expensive from bedroom to "mandatory" Aperitive & Dinner.
