Foresters Lodge bed and breakfast, near loch ness

We spent two nights here and and had an amazing time. Jane and her partner were fantastic hosts! Our room was on the ground floor which was fantastic. It was huge! Nice big bed and a sofa in the room also. Plenty of wardrobe space. En suite bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and milk. We had a meal booked for our first night. The cottage pie was delicious 😉. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. Plenty to choose from. And great coffee. There was room to park our motorbike right down near the house. Foresters Lodge is a great base, situated right next to Loch Ness. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The hosts were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I needed to put some ice packs in a freezer to keep my medication cold the next day and they offered to put it in their freezer. Breakfast was delicious, served in a lovely dining room with lots of windows. My room was upstairs in a lovely room with an attic window. It was delightful and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot, there was plenty of storage for clothes etc.

Id like to make 2 suggestions to improve the room: 1. A small table or shelf in the bathroom for guest toiletries/makeup as there was nowhere to put my toiletry bag. 2. A chair in the room to sit and watch TV or do anything else. The only place in the room to sit on was the bed. After a while, when I stood up my back was sore.

The hosts Jane and Jill was super friendly and the food was spot on. Recommend the Cullen Skink

The location in the forest close to Loch Ness was ideal. We received a very warm welcome, the accommodation was immaculate and very comfortable. The evening meal was very good only matched by a brilliant breakfast.
