Croft cottage occupies a lovely quiet spot on the lower slopes of a hill overlooking a bay outside of the town of Ullapool. The room was bright, welcoming and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, especially the porridge! It was served in an enclosed veranda with the view of the bay. This area was a lovely place to sit and keep warm on cold wet days, and available for takeaway dinners too. The “Croft” is essentially a farm property with free range chickens (eggs for breakfast!) and sheep down the hill from the house. Mountains and walking trails uphill and behind the property. The hosts were locals and had lots of info on things to see in the region. They accommodated our need for a bit of fridge space, and provided dishes et al when we did a takeaway dinner. They get 5 stars!

Everything about Croft Cottage B&B was outstanding.
Contemporary decor throughout, finished to a high standard.
The hosts are great, also very helpful and knowledgeable with regard to the area. Breakfast was the best, plenty of choices, and again to a very high standard.
There was no to dislike. Would definitely recommend staying at this perfect B&B

The location was delightful- located looking out over Ardmair beach - a lot of thought had gone into the rooms and they were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent
