We absolutely loved our stay in the pod and would happily return. Suzie contacted us before arrival to make sure we understood there was a five-minute walk down a path to reach the pod. This was much appreciated and meant there were no surprises. Guests can carry their own gear or use the wheelbarrow provided. We brought rucksacks, so it wasn't an issue, although my girlfriend's interpretation of "travelling light" remains fundamentally different from mine. The pod was spotless, well equipped, cosy and had views across the bay that were frankly bordering on ridiculous. We set the dining table up facing the door and spent the evenings watching the sunset. The bed was warm, comfortable and contributed significantly to my reluctance to get up each morning. The bathroom is a little compact by normal standards, but then normal standards don't really apply when you're staying in a pod. Everything worked perfectly and there was plenty of hot water after a day exploring Torridon. The cooking facilities are exactly as described. We brought mainly cold food, so the microwave was more than adequate for our needs. Suzie was a fantastic host: friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful. Her customer service was put to the test when I phoned at 9pm to ask if she happened to have a spare needle for emergency splinter extraction following an argument with a piece of woodland. Rather than questioning my judgement, she was completely sympathetic and came to the rescue. A wonderful stay in a beautiful location. Highly recommended.

Fabulous location with a brilliant approach using a wheelbarrow for luggage. Comfortable warm pod well equipped with bathroom and kitchenette. Staying here is a must. Suzie the host is delightful.
