Great location while travelling the North Coast 500 Road trip. exceptionally friendly proprietors and exceptionally dog friendly . Great food which also catered well for gluten and dairy free.

The location was excellent and the hosts were very friendly, including the family dogs. Fabulous breakfast.
The house has such potential but needs extensive investment for this beautiful historic building.

Breakfast was very good - good choice, plenty of variety - more than we needed really.
House was quirky, old, had seen former glory but now faded and tired. People were friendly and our dog was welcomed. Recommendation of French restaurant in Wick for dinner was very welcome and food was exceptional there.
Bed wasn't very comfortable. Smallish double, sheets were spotless and seemed new but fabric was scratchy on the top. Duvet was feather (old?) and not that comfortable. We didn't sleep great. Water pressure in the shower not great. Huge and spacious but tired and faded. If you love interesting old historic buildings and don't mind things being tired then this might be for you. Felt like we were acquaintances being put up for the night rather than fee paying guests - but the people were very friendly.
