Second visit and I was upgraded to an ensuite room for free. Loved the place! Comfy bed, very generous selection of tea, coffee and biscuits and great breakfast that catered for veggies. The view from the bedroom was over the harbour. Staff very friendly and all for an amazing £52! Thank you.

Friendly check in - great breakfast
Walls are quite thin so our dog could hear people moving in the hall till after midnight which made him bark - and probably disturbed other guests as well 🙈

The rooms were warm and beds comfortable. The biscuits were plentiful and tasty. The bedside power sockets were useful. The breakfast was ok.
The strong smell of stale / not so stale (!) nicotine smoke on the middle floor was unexpected and unacceptable. The rooms were dusty with cobwebs, the overall decor was very tired and outdated. The entrance hall was cluttered as was the middle floor. It would have been nice if the breakfast wasn’t taken in the bedrooms.
