Close to the train station , which was a plus. Communication with owner very good

No sign saying Bank guest house just B&B so did get a bit lost . Know one to greet you even though it was late 11ish. What I would have liked was a towel in the room , even though it says towels are extra , didn't realise till next day. Arriving at night would have been nice , very basic, cotton wool balls on the said in a container I didn't like , would rather a towel. Nothing else to say very bleak

Parking facility not as close as we liked. Too much walking for my partner but hostess came and helped us with taking our baggage up the stairs and take them to our car the morning we left.

The property was very comfortable . The breakfast was great. The host was very helpful. The only problem was having to go up two flights of stairs. Apart from this I couldn’t fault it. I would recommend this to anyone who is fit.

Decent stay

This was an okay venue for an overnight stay. Helpful staff. Decent breakfast.

Car park was a short distance from the accommodation. Had to park on double yellow lines to unpack bags and then go and park the car. Lots of stairs up to room and no lift. For us, it was okay but not for someone with mobility issues.

A very good enjoyable stay

On our arrival we had a warm welcome from our host , the location for our stay was ideal, our bedroom was comfortable we slept well ,Breakfast was very nice ,a good start for the day to travel on . Car parking was to the rear of the property ,ideal location . Overall a very good Bed and Breakfast staycation .

Comfortable stay with very friendly and obliging staff

Angela checked us in and very friendly and sandra looked after us at breakfast and was very helpful and obliging. Lovely lady. The room had everything we needed.

Bed was uncomfortable for my partner but I didn’t have a problem. However if you left the window open the seagulls might keep you awake.

Not a pleasant experience

In need of some modernising and upgrading. Floor tiles in the bathroom were broken, the toilet handle was loose, the mirror light in the bathroom didn’t work, the light in the bedroom needed a new bulb, the windows were mouldy, the one of the ornaments was broken. No one was there for check in at 4pm so we had to wait, and no explanation was given why. Initially there were no towels or toilet rolls. The bedding was torn and broken. Parking was not as expected and not particularly secure. Was booked in for two nights but moved elsewhere after one.

Great stay

Very happy welcome when arrived taken to room shown around the parking is behind if you go past pound stretchers keep left last car park on the left bed really comfortable good support walk in shower with good pressure and nice thick towel overall a great stay few bars nearby shops nearby and distillery down road within walking distance really good stop for a night on the nc500 highly recommend.

Good considering price

Arrived outside and to be honest was slightly put off by the run down town centre. But, Angela, the landlady, met us at the property and recommended places to eat and told us where to park our car. Room dated but clean and I have to say we both had a great nights sleep. Breakfast needed to be booked in advance but was delicious and plentiful. All in all a pleasant stay.

Good pit stop for NC500 trip

Room was spacious and clean but the exterior / interior could do with an update - looks a little tired. Host was super welcoming though and breakfast was tasty.

Seagulls seemed to be nesting in the roof so was quite loud. Wick itself seems to be quite a rundown town, which is a shame - nothing to see or do here.

Excellent host

Comfortable large room with a variety of choice for breakfast. Central location. Superb host who went above and beyond after talking about bird poop on my car… she took it upon herself to go to the car park where I was parked, not knowing which car was mine (only through the description of the poop) and cleaned it!!! Would definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you so much.
