Nice stop over in Wick

Possibly in need of a bit of a refurbishment in areas, but comfortable enough.

We had just the 1 night. In our room, the toilet was connected to an electronic pump which made some kind of noise..possibly a reset of some kind, but this went on every 10 mins though the night and made for a frustrating and therefore difficult night.

It was my issue, but because we are traveling for 2 months and have a LOT of luggage, the room was really small. If not for that the rooms were great.

Comfy bed and a good size on the room, bathroom a little small.

The toilet was constantly noisy, not only when you flushed and a minute after, but many times, all through the night. The breakfast started too late at 7.30 for us taking the train at 8. Very late for a weekday.

Wonderful bed

This was a wonderful room to stay in, with a four poster bed and bath tub. Wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Well worth it

Not a bad little hotel able to cater for all our needs which is just as well seeing as Wick itself was in the most part closed.

Evening meal was haddock which was fres caught and lovely. Waitress/barmaid swore when speaking with us.

Good hotel on the NC500 route

The room was modernised, clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and chatty. Check in and out was easy.

Cannot fault the hotel but there was not a lot to do in Wick for the evening.

Excellent little place with surprising comfort.

The bed was extremely comfortable and it was a 4 poster bed, the room was laid out nicely with a pleasant decor. The decoration in the hall was tasteful

The drawer the hair dryer was located in was very stiff and difficult to open, also there was some mold and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. The sofa cushions drop into the sofa when sat on which was uncomfortable. Only minor issues though!
